Let us know how that turns out. Too many Chef's equal a shit sandwich. My wife and I do everything together but we have our own worlds within each project. She grows certain things, I grow others. She raises her chickens, I raise rabbits. It all end up in the same spot but this way we aren't trying to reach for the same shovel

I don't know either of them on any kind of level to make assumptions. Maybe her husband is a natural and kicks her ass? Maybe he loses but isn't a sore loser. I don't know. I didn't suggest they grow the same plant together. They could grow their own strains or use different methods.

Hell they could have separate grow rooms doing their own things but still be growing together.

Okay, I need some advice....
Hubby is watching videos about growing plants..... he's bored and wants to 'help' me.
I'm hearing it and it's everything I've been telling him for years, but I'm not sure how to respond when he tries to mansplain it to me. Gratefully accept the info. and continue what I'm doing, or let him know that it's what I've been doing for years.

in my case i start by saying oh its super simple then start explaining shit but everything i say allways has a but if its this if its that at some point i go super deep in to a subject and then i stop and say well maybe its not soo simple i been doing it for too long XD.

i tried making mine join in my grow sessions but there is soo much crap to explain and soo much colors that correspond to some event its too hard to explain.we ended up with above is all mine water is almost all theirs :D

You know, it's all this being cooped up in the house for months now. We need warmer weather and some fresh air. Still single digits this morning but they say we'll get all the way up to 35-40 F tomorrow. yay

yea i been starting to get cabin fever as well.every weekend i am like we have to go out.then i go back under my blanket... hahaha

Get him to do the mechanical/ electrical stuff like an extra circuit to the grow room, clean and oil circulatation fans, clean and oil exhaust fans, inventory media so you know what you need for next grow, wash used fabric pots, calibrate PH pen, clean humidifers, etc... He will learn along the way and become a valuable asset.

Soakin them in some vinegar for a day doesn’t seem very laborious, was hoping that was all it entailed yeah I’m not trying to get the vat out and wash/stir them things for all day though! : )

It is sad I had 2 of 5 clog up.
But that's the goal to get em flogged up with roots! Yaaay do it again.
But yes under a microscope I am sure a root going through the wall looks like a transporter room accident.

I hear you Jim : ) these pots I have has just been sitting outside. Wanted to make sure I killed any fungus or mold or larva/eggs.

Don’t tell anybody, but my roots don’t reach the edges cuz I suck at growing

Same pots for four years! Got algae growing on them! Don’t have to be so persnickety outdoors! but they are starting to fall apart!

Neither did I. I wasn't saying it would happen I was saying it could happen and I certainly wasn't assuming his/hers intentions. Being she asked about a husband who was already mansplaining to her...not asking for her help in his trying to learn or trying his hand and getting guidance. Kind of makes me think she was concerned of a little friction to begin with. Best way to avoid friction burns, not rub each other...the wrong way.

7 east genetics: CBD Dragon, Grape Dragon, and freebee Headstrong. Shipping from Canada was longer than I expected, but no problem 'cause the snow ain't gone yet. Their packaging is cute but I almost dumped them all out together. LOL
