Left a bucket with water outside last night for last hash run, worked out good! Fox I spotted on way home yesterday, stopped every 20 ‘ to take a whizz, must be mating season.

Fantastic there hoosier those look healthy. Yes sir we are crossing our fingers for this years outdoor grows. Love the strains your growing good choices indicas i love them.
I'm from Indiana as well and running some photoperiods. Have you ever grown outdoors with direct seed to soil? I live in Southern Indiana and will be trying it this Spring/Summer. How did your harvest turn out from the pictures you posted?

I'm from Oregon not Indiana, I had a good not great outdoor last year . My fault not the genetics. I'm not as strong as I was so I use 15gal plastic pots, keeps them small but stresses them. Anyways I was happy to see them come down. I'm also a indoor grower during winter. 😊✌️

Dude I had a Blue Dream last year....17 ounces of bud. I will never do that again. Took me forever to harvest....🤣😂

I'm in NE Ohio, like Crazyformes.

I grew two outside, in ground.
One hit 8' tall, the other 10'
Total dry weight of smokable bud, not including the popcorn and swarfy stuff, came to just over 2 1/2 pounds. Not shabby for a first grow.!

They get quite large when grown in ground. This pic is end of July while plants were still in stretch.

So go for it, if u can. It's definitely worth the experience. Just make sure u have a good ladder, and your not afraid of heights. 😰

It's so cool being able to damn near hide in your plants.😉

I dream that this will be the type of harvest I encounter with direct soil growing! Those plants look beautiful! You did a wonderful job with them. The heights doesn't bother me and especially when it comes to harvesting these beauties. 😍😍😍😍😍

I loved growing trees

But hate all the work breaking them down. 2025 was it for me. I'm flipping them small this year😉

I'm with ya. The 8' bush was easier to deal with, over the 10' tree. Plus the yield and buds were better.

It was a learning experience. Was first year I could actually interact with the plants, and watch them go thru their life cycle. So one by gods hand, the other topped and trained.

Ain't never letting a photo grow all natural, again. May even beat one with a broom handle for a stress response, some day. Guy I know has done this, says it seems to increase bud growth.😆. Who knows, they are resilient. I've seen plants beat to hell by storms, and still be productive.

I am wanting your guys honest opinion on my SCROG technique that I’m doing this run for the first time in my life. My plants are on day 29 of veg, and they are at a height of 7-8 inches. I topped them last week and added the SCROG net at the beginning of this week. I’ve only been growing for two years now and I haven’t stopped since. Honest opinions and suggestions are greatly welcomed and appreciated. Thanks again and happy growing everyone!!
