Yup buying booze in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania was a weird experience for me. Those of you who have never left California, they're like BevMo stores out here that the state runs.

I went to Texas near Dallas. You could drink at the bars but no sales at a grocery store or a BevMo. Like a hybrid version of a dry town where you can drink at the bar but not at home. So you had to drive to another county for beer at home, my buddy gets lost and we are in this area where the street signs are in Chinese maybe Japanese I don’t know because we can’t read it. It was like 10 minutes to the commercial entertainment strip. The search for the regular priced beer was fun.

California is acting like that with weed in some areas, I don't know if we have whole dry counties but we have cities that have outlawed dispensaries and outdoor growing and other cities doing everything to collect every tax dollar from cannabis that they can. I'm in a dry city, I have to keep my plants locked up in a secure greenhouse enclosure if I'm growing outside. That's the fine print of the law, but those that don't read interpret it as an outright prohibition on outdoor growing and it's represented like that to the media and the anti Marijuana folks are content and none the wiser. And although they outlawed dispensaries, they could not legally outlaw cannabis delivery services from dispensary purchases outside the city. As expected, the delivery services are where you're going to find black market ounces for $40.

If you took the meme that way you should have spoken out about it. I did not see it as such. Celebrities are neither below nor above me as are anyone else such as athletes or anybody within our current culture or community BUT, I don't give a shit what they have to say. Why does the news report it like it matters BUT, only and always one side, the approvided side? The double standard is off the fucking charts and Americans are tired of all of it. Remember Cancel Culture?

I personally was silentlenced from Twitter and Facebook - several times each and am not currently on either. Why is my voice and many others who agree with me silennced while others can talk all the bullshit and lies they want, in front of a microphone and always fed and backed up by the approved media group think. When a MAJORITY of Americans do not want to hear it.

As for @JIMKSI64 meme(s) they're rarely overtly political and imho make ya think Common Sense. We are so very tired of being told we're wrong, we're racist (in 96 & 2000 I supported Alan Keys, smartest man I ever had the privilege to speak with) or homophobic (for years back in the 90's I'd have my gay neighbor over for Thanksgiving dinner, his mom disowned him, and many other dinners durning our decade as neighbors) and now today we're being called Nazis and FACISTS, etc. This is reported from every MSM news room daily, many times word for word and is nothing more than propaganda.

The Farm and many other hobby sites were just like it, one sided, the "approved" side, Free Speach be damned. So that's why I DARE speak out today, even without a title or paying a fee

And that's why places like this are not a place for politics as politics divide, unlike the purpose of this site: to be helpful to one another, to show off what we're doing and how we're doing it to inspire and help others to be successful growers. Politics pit the ideologies one hold against each other - JUST LIKE RELIGION which every mod and supporter should really follow

So, if you feel I or anyone posts a meme overtly political or religious please speak up. Unfortunately I'm afraid Jim is no longer posting memes and I understand but I will miss them and I honestly use to wonder where he was stealing them from

Thanks for the thoughtful reply without all the yelling and insults, but… you kind of proved my point.

You say “this isn’t the place for politics,” then you immediately went into politics — just in a calmer tone. It’s still “we vs them,” “approved side,” propaganda, cancel culture, who’s allowed to speak, who’s silenced, etc.

And here’s the problem: replies like that are basically impossible to answer in any meaningful way without also using political language — which then gets used as the excuse to shut the conversation down. So one side gets to rant, and the other side gets told “rules.”

And for the record: I’m not calling you racist, homophobic, a Nazi, or any of the other labels you brought up. I never did. I wasn’t even talking about that. I was talking about the basic idea that public figures are still citizens, and nobody is forced to consume their opinions.

Also, for the record: I haven’t watched TV or MSM in 20+ years. I don’t get my worldview spoon-fed by anybody. I check sources from multiple angles, compare them, and draw my own conclusions based on what I consider facts — not outrage or talking points.

Anyway… I’m here for grows, not ideology.

p.s. much of today's conversations about schools and taxes and voting, and county state and federal government and the constitution and laws and voting..... Yup, all political.... I stand by my earlier statement in my og reply; that it's almost impossible to have any meaningful discourse these days without some form of politics bleeding through.... It's just the nature of living in modern times

Feel sorry for these autos. Lost a bit of interest in them due to the annoyance of having to water too often so they've been a bit touch and go. Small pots and summer ain't my friend. 71 days in. Pretty much out of weed so I'll let em roll another 7-10 days and call it quits.

Babies moving along well. Most around 9-11 days in, ones a few days behind. Gotta love staggered sprouts.
