Kona Gold......... never had the pleasure of trying it but the name makes me want to......... if not mistaken it was a strain decades ago that had been in High Times..........

Gotta Love It, would love to see it when it's flowering.

where are these seeds from? what year were they collected?
i’ve got kona and maui from capt,. these genetics are from 1986 hopefully that was before sam and the govnt started destroying landrace strains worldwide,.

I got them from a buddy who use to live in kona...

But any way go ahead I got old Kona's to afghan an sativa I just call them hawians

Heirloom, traditional “Kona Gold” was originally a Northern Mexican “Brick Weed” strain crossed with Thai to increase the potency. Pure Sativa, this very old and traditional strain takes at least 3 months to finish, up to 4 months. If you grow it for 5 months (May first, let’s say) then your plants will be harvest-ready about 6 or 7 months

My best friend lived in kona in the late 70's and early 80s. He got them from Mark Rodriguez.

Me too brother, I love landrace sativas. I can't wait to share my experience, and give away some beans. If these dont germinate then we will move on to the next landrace...

I did while in Hawaii in the very early 80's. One of my favorites and I've been looking for seeds. Glad someone has some.

This for me is a long list.....Ive tried prob 1000s of varieties, cause botanically speaking the term "strain" doesn't work for cannabis....cause you can "strain" your brain but we grow Varieties...and strand sorta works but I pref varieties.... and oddly I wouldn't have nothing from the last...
