When I was young and it was on broadcast TV I used to race home from school and sit in front of the TV with a glass of milk and canister of home made chocolate cookies. (my younger brother hated it. LOL) Mom was at work and one time the 2 of us ate most of the cookies. 😁

Anyways, that began my lifelong obsession with charming vampires. LOL
BTW, I tried watching it again, I really did, but it's not the same and I'm too impatient now to sit through the filler episodes before Barnabas shows. And he's so OLD. 🤣

Loved Dark Shadows! It was originally supposed to only last 13 weeks, it was a “filler”, but it became very popular and was on for years. It was the werewolf (Quentin) that scared me (I was 10 or 12). I even had a silver pentagram!

Well, as luck would have it, I got up to pee about 03:30, it was clear, looked out the bathroom window and there was the lunar eclipse, probably a little after the total, there was just a sliver of light, but the moon was mostly blood red around the edges! When I got up this morning the tule fog had come in, and you couldn't see 50 yards!

Yeah, it was kind of anti-climactic! That moon is awfully small when it is that high! Looks good through the binoculars! But got up and took a look anyway! Was hoping it might be a little closer to the horizon and a little larger!

The next one is in three years! So this was probably my last!😂🍻 when you get old, you spend a lot of time thinking, well this will probably be the last time for this, or the last time for that! At least that’s how I look at it!😵

Na, I figure we've got 5-10 more years. When I think about it I kind'a want'a put things 'in order' for the kids.
All this bureaucracy when someone passes is ridiculous for most of us.
Never mind, I've been imbibing and probable don't make alot of sense. LOL

What did I ever do to you? 😂 already lasted much longer than I deserve! Going downhill fast! I’ll say it! If I’ve known I was gonna live this long, I’d have taken better care of myself! Lol! None of us gets out of this mess alive!

Funny when you think about it. We live like we've got forever, then reality smacks ya in the face. At least we've got time to do/say/think about the important things. Mom did that for me, so I'm gonna do that for my kids.
Damn, sounds sappy don't it. LOL

Not at all. My good friend Mike just went through all this. A year and a half ago has his esophagus removed because of cancer. Took a few months but was quite healthy. Welp my good buddy Mike passed last night 🫡
Gone too soon at 58 😓
