Calling Dr. Bugby a "paid actor" and "garbage science" is going to loose you a lot of respect around here. I would suggest doing a deeper dive on the subject because the man knows his shit and I bet you'll learn something.

Well today is 24° here 🥶 and light snow. Its been about 60° for 4 days BUT that was a little warm for this time of year.

Add University of Vermont and McPartland's team, North Carolina State and the great Dr. Whipker's team and Dr. Karl Hillig of Cornell (even though it's listed he isn't). All of which have a vast amount of research and some collaboration with Dr. Bruce. So no he isn't a shill or huckster, far from it.

Exactly why 99% of growers love Dr Bugby. He's a straight shooting scientist who tells it like it is. Even while debunking cannabis bro science he is respectful enough to acknowledge the anecdotal evidence from legacy growers and why they might be doing these things.

I have my opinions on salts and organics because ive used both. Dialing in with any of them is the goal and they both rock out some bud.

We learn from who we think or FEEL is guiding us..if we trust them. They dont need a ton of fancy university degrees. It can be that old man who you met on the forum that leads you in the direction you seek or that old man on YouTube.

Organics n salts debate will roll on forever n ever. One thing most dont see is that not mater what it all breaks down into salts. Salts have been growing plants organically since the beginning of time.

And that is why he says what he says wrt organics. If doing empirical evals you want to be able to pinpoint the input to accurately assess the output. Organics don't work that way, it's not that they don't work but in an evidence based short term grow trial they are hard to get a handle on. Also there there is a vast difference between Joe I want some smoke from my yard and both the scientific community and large commercial industry. Different goals.
