I've never used PVC for pressure except for sprinkler systems and always by code. As a self employed plumber I am responsible for any damage leaks can cause and insurance companies won't cover someone who has had claims. I never had a claim😉 and I've never bent pipe. If I thought I could bend it like the above hoophouse I'd have been bending pipe all along😉

A buddy of mine was an inspector for Edison, he found guys bending underground electrical conduit all the time. Can't do it under NSPC, can't do it under NEC either.

But hoop houses and kludge home projects, it's game fucking on! 🤣

Did you bend the pipe for the hoop house??? And if so did you use a heat gun?
No didn't bend it myself, I bought it as a kit. I used to do a lot of commercial electrical work so I've bent a ton of emt but if I bent the pipe myself it definitely wouldn't look that uniform. I was able to put this one up in an afternoon with just a little help. Works great but if anyone gets one you will also have to get good ground anchors and ratchet straps to hold it down in high winds, the little anchors and string it comes with is a joke. A 10mph wind would send it rolling across the yard. And this winter i will install some load bearing 2×4s so the snow won't collapse this one, that's the plan anyway.

If anyone needs to hold anything to the ground these anchors are great. Much easier to install than beating a stake into the ground and holds better also

I figured. They are so uniform that it seemed they were bent professionally.

I may yet buy a bending arm and heat gun.

I'm getting ready to make another small greenhouse and start a YouTube channel and start podcasting about growing, etc. I was an on-air radio personality once upon a time so I've got a great face for radio🤣 Ya never know until you try😉

Hell yeah, I'll subscribe.

This is what I do with my Friday evenings now. I smoke hash with my American compadre and when he's out I go on here to see what you guys are up to. So what's going on in your lives and grows?

Hell yeah I hope we don't get totally cooked this summer though but a strong spring like this they say means the summer will be cool so we'll see either way. Last summer I painted my pot white and this year I'm doing beds.

I considered doing beds. For now i feel more comfortable with watering and dry backs using the pots : )

I have adopted 5 to 10 gallon pots... this way when the plant don't finish outside they can be pulled into tent and finished....got to keep them short and fat....I havent done it yet....but that is where my thought process is for this year's grow.

I grow my Autos in 7 gallon fabric pots. I move them into the garage when they've been in flower for awhile and rain may bring the mold. I did that last year and tho' the humidity in the garage was high I kept fans on them and only had small amounts of botrytis.

Just be careful of bringing in pests from outside. I think i F’d myself last season by using my indoor shed set up for drying the outdoor summer run. Things that are outside the shed more than the time it takes me to mix and fill get a whole wash down or major iso spray! And even then after i get done filling the water container i spray that with iso/water mix. But with that said my end season temps and weather might be a little lighter than where you are.
