When I was in my early teens, our house caught fire at around 3 a.m. There was so much smoke in the place we had to crawl to get out. Everybody made it out except my big sister, who would’ve been maybe 16 or 17 at the time.

The firemen got there in about 10 minutes. Smoke was rolling out of the soffits, but there was no obvious fire anywhere. Two of them geared up, went inside with air tanks on, dragging a 1.5" brush hose behind them. After what felt like forever, maybe 3 or 4 minutes in real time, they came back out carrying my unconscious sister... and a hockey puck.

Naturally, we thought she had smoke inhalation.

Nope.

Turns out sis had come home drunk off her ass, thrown an 18" frozen pizza in the oven, box and all, and passed out cold. That hockey puck was what was left of the pizza.

They loaded her into the ambulance, put her on oxygen, and hit her with smelling salts. She woke up coughing and gagging, farted twice, pissed herself, and puked all over my mom and the two volunteer ambulance guys and the back of the rig.

All 4 of them came flying out of that ambulance gagging, puking, and tripping over themselves. By then there were probably 30 people standing around, and once they started puking, a bunch of the crowd started gagging and puking too.

I ain’t shitting you, it turned into the Lard Ass barf-o-rama scene from the movie Stand by Me.

Me and my big brother were rolling around on the ground laughing our asses off.

The house smelled like smoke for months after that. Sis was grounded for life. My brother and I got a week each.

All in all, a small price to pay.

Fuck that was an epic read. Yew I wont live with drinkers anymore for that reason. Spent far too many years going down at 2am every night turning people's pots, pans and ovens off at the brink of a fire due to them passing out on the floor or couch mid cook.

Glad it all turned out the way it did and I always makes me glad I've never been a drinker as well haha.

Gelato and Cherry Wine Hemp. Like super quick! I did a cutting in rockwool and a cutting in dirt for each plant. Those 2 rooted both in the cube and dirt. The other two, exact same conditions, neither the cube or the dirt have gone exploring yet. Mothers Milk on the left and Blueberry Hash Plant on the right. Not out of the game, but taking their sweet ass time. I'm 12 days in now. Previously I had some fails with an Ice Cream Cake pheno. That was because mom wasn't really dialed for cloning at the time, she had auxin curl and yoyo-ing EC. I fixed her and after that everything rooted fine. So if you run into fails, try a nitrogen forward feeding with some micronute support and let it kick in. Then see how it goes with some fresh cuts.

Six weeks down from pop tomorrow. Very surprised the heavy satties are moving into flower faster than the hybrids. Been three weeks from flip for the Nevs Haze X SLH and 17 days for th Northern Lights X Juicy Fruit.

Still making me mind up as to whether I'll crop the tallest four colas on the satties in a few days time or just let em rip vertically and get some lighting for the bottom of the tent. As it is the tops are at around 1000umol/a and the lower branches barely getting 200umol/s.

that do not work. They expire. I bet if you kept it in the fridge (another reason to move 1 of 2 small refrigerators I have) as I do with neem oil & Capt Jack's Dead Bug spinosad concentrate as well as any STS reversal spray.

I switched to Hormex 3

More hormones percentage wise and lasts a long time, unlike those bottles above, both 3/4 full. And no, I never dipped any cutting into the jar, always in another container. Again, maybe if I was smart enough to store in the fridge but here we are

So I am back to reading news and I spool up my spiders and start reading.
Last week the interpretations of the new Ohio homegrown we finally released.
Right now we can have up to 12 plants in a household with 2 or more adults over 21.
But here is the kicker. They are still going to enforce the 2.5 oz and 15 gram limits on possession of home grown cannabis along with the adult use purchase limits.
So after 3/30/26 in Ohio you can grow up to 12 plants but you are limited to 2.5 oz and clarification of the language now has vegetative cannabis as counting the same for weight.

If so my 11 run of autos during flower would have been 5 years 50k fine based on weight.
It's like these rules were made by people with no knowledge of cannabis at all.
Nothing more than a naked attempt to prop up big donors by reducing homegrown to increase tax revenues.
Next will be home grown tax stamps.......
