Net deployed. Evened up canopy. All sit between 730 and 850umol/s at the canopy level now with a bit of room to grow into the light.

Northern lights X Juicy fruit. Ones got more internode spacing, but they actually look near identical. Two colas from each plant.

It's a massive nostalgia trip for me. We got a ton of Thai and PNG sativa here due to proximity when I was younger. The early to mid 00s was such a vibe.

Everything smelled like citrus rind, mango sap and citronella. I get too many overly dank "mossy, earthy burning rubber and rotten socks" strains these days, especially with hype strains. Just seems everything smells generically dank now.

Yea good mate. Just riding the wave of old-school nostalgia atm. How about yourself? When's your next fire up tent wise?

Last run was straight ass so I've been near dry for a while. Old potting mix from the landscaping joint turned to shit and just couldn't bring the pH up enough. No more Coco in the mix and they moved to wood pulp, bark and compost so easy to get acidic and the microbes would pillage N as an energy source for breaking down all the wood in it.

Back onto a peat and Coco mix with compost/castings and perlite for the time being and everything's looking up. But I have fell back into me usual habits of not checking input pH and just sticking with top dresses for now.

Tempted to pop me haze into Ninox/Saws Aussie haze thread over at IC but I swear all the haze connoisseurs there will get super pissy with me illegitimate herbies/mediseedman haze chucks and get all up in their feelings haha.

Ive noticed they take their haze super serious haha...it cracks me up. Some ripper shit there but I'm always running random freebies chucks and shit so I'm never game to show me face haha. I don't care how legit your haze is, if it looks like fucking wheat X Grinspoon I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole...still needs to produce actual buds In my eyes hence the hybrid haze chucks here.

Yea he came picked up a few c99 X from us a while back as I couldn't be fucked setting up a tent lol. Think he's managed to keep em going since winter and revegged em which is nice to see.

Surprised how fast the satties moved into flower tbh. Last time I grew out the Nevs haze/MM X Malawi/Mozambique fems they took fuckin ages from flip to start setting.

Some flower shots. The satties looking a wee bit N hot. They say they like less abundant mediums and it looks to be about right. They've had a few tbsp castings and frass but apart from that their only feed is root roids 1.5-0.5-3 once a week.

The hybrids getting the same treatment but with 2.5ml/L Canna Terra Flores 2-1-3-1 once a week as well.

So the sativa chucks are getting loud in the tent but it's still that generic pine like pong you get from all weed at first.

However if I scratch/rub or steal a calyx they smell really woody and culinary. Like woody carrots and radish. Almost starchy in a way like it should bleed milky sap if that makes sense lol.

So talking to me mate so far all the testers have been 70% plus female so we are pretty much 100 percent sure a Hermie from some Ace Tropical mix pollinated the SLH alongside the male Nevs Haze now.

Kinda makes sense based on the appearance. Certainly doesn't look like the white label SLH, but the Nevs Haze from Herbies did have a bunch of pheno variation and some were legit when it comes to old school tones. Some metallic, some camphor tones, some church thrown in.

I suppose thats the joy of amateur chucks haha. Suppose it doesn't really matter what they are if I'm just looking for a nice Sativa.

Will have to crop again a few inches up. Have been trying to tie em down to the net or weave em, but the original knuckles are so split, dry and thin it's like moving tissue paper. Not looking too good haha. Normally they knuckle up and grow a bunch of supportive tissue. 7 weeks down from pop..

Little hybrids going fine though. Same age.

Cheers mate. They've been easy feeders too this lot. Just get root roids (mykos/bacillus) weekly and have had a top dress of castings. Other than that it's just plain tap water at 7.0 and ec0.4 daily. Not many amendments in the medium either...just peat moss, Coco, compost and castings with some perlite and scoria.

Trying to gauge times on strains you've never ran is always a gamble. Looking to pop another 4-5 plants in the spare tent and have em ready to flip once the Northern Lights X Juicy fruit above are done and dry.

I reckon I've got a rough 6 weeks until the NL X JF finish up so I might hold off another two weeks before popping any more.

Plan on popping some Exotic Thai X Bangi Haze and Sweet Thai X Mighty Mango Bud to keep they Satty hybrid chuck theme going.
