I gave up on trimming. i wet leaf at chop and the buck into small totes where stuff stays until/if i get it into jars hahaha! grab a nug out and finger bang the sugar leaves off back into the jar and away we go!
I hang : ) i wet leaf as im hanging along with trim any large sugar leaves.

Yeah i did a couple soil runs out in the shed. Very very low maintenance! : ) almost considered going back to it. Im also playing around with full on hydro (thats a cost commitment to build the system). Im doing an another soil runs this summer outdoors, Gaia green and just water. I did add some nutes early on to help out while the Gaia broke down. Had so much fun with that one. Even in the rain and with plastic cover falling over on everything
Im not sure either : ) i know for certain one needs to ph hydro process and what not. But I know of growers here my self included who dont ph anything. I dont even check my tap water, or let it sit out over night. I read that the chloramine doesnt come out of the water until you meet certain heats and agitation? And from my understanding thats the chemical we want out of the water that can mess your plants up. I’ve also read that some chlorine is good for the plant, some biology and chemistry beyond me though.
decent soil as long as its not ice cold or lava hot water , bacteria in the mud sorts it naturally

YES. Use like peet moss, no nutes, just keep it moist and then plant into your soil. I use it just wet and don't give seedlings any nute water until day 8 after pop.

when i do my main crop , i blast it with dehumidefier for 2/3 days then let hang
this last run i smoked. I used the same method i did a while ago by adding a bunch of perlite (that didnt work well last time) and my dumbass forgot that until i was sitting out in the shed going “oh man! I did this already and it fucking sucked”
