The bummer about domes is you don't have any air movement. The sooner you can get them down from 90 to 70 without sagging the better, and I've heard aim for getting it off within 3 days.

Another helpful hack I've picked up on, if you're grabbing cuts from top of plant then when preparing your cut, cut the top inch or so off the top and let the node below it be the clone's top. The high auxins in the tops cause the tops to keep growing and not focusing on making roots. So cutting the top off, youre taking that auxin load away and forcing it to do something else instead: make roots. Also your chances of success go up exponentially if you've got a viable node sitting in the rooting medium. Especially if you're rooting in dirt, where the plant will throw out these really strong hair like pre roots out of the nodes to start sipping water.

I'll do it if you're sure. And yes, the nodes are in the peat. So, how long? 2 more weeks, right. 😉

So, I've GOT to do something with these plants. Think I'll move some out of the tent and under the T5.

Okay, in my defense, the clones were gonna replace the original plants, but things don't always go as planned. (do they? LOL)
I am stressing about the timing on my veg tent. Vacation Sept 3rd. I have to get the mainline on the widows done and ready for the flower tent with 9-11 weeks of veg. That will give me 12 weeks until vacation.

Thinking about 3 gallon pots and keeping smaller.
By week 4 flower
the mainlines will either show yes this was a great idea or nope try again.
I think the growth on the widows makes it a better candidate than these indica leaning strains I tried this on.

I thought the cloner was great 'cause none of the clones wilted or, or, anything. Tips of the leaves got a little dark, but they looked fine until this morning. I turned off the cloner and picked up the tray and the stems had this brown goo on them, so I looked it up. And everything I read said it was rot and was going to stop the roots and I needed to clean that off.

So, I jumped the gun, again. LOL Should'a let them go another week? Geesch. Oh, well, NEXT time.
Wonder if the hydro guys have anything they could recommend for the reservoir? I’d make sure i was adding h202 everyday or two also.

Does the h202 really give it a sustained oxygen kick that a bubbler doesn't?
I do it to keep things clean. And this is only because I’ve noticed during soaking seeds for germ. If i dont add h202 things get slimy in day or so. Im not sure the actual “bonding” of the o2 from the bubbler to the water vs the “bonding” of o2 to the water from the h202 (just confused myself lol)

I chalk it up to “bro science” : )

Also I’ve watered it into solos that were a little to wet and starting to go anaerobic looking. Seemed to work.

I use it in my sead soak, very weak concentration, 5 drops 3% h2o2 into 100ml bottled water, just to keep things clean. After that I start using plain tap water as needed to keep moist BUT, if this slime is a problem and what you're doing works? Right On, Bro👊

Be thankful you're not playing with monsters. I've waited 7 weeks to see roots. There's autos practically finishing up in that amount of time.
I had one root when I moved their sisters to ten gallon pots. So they rooted went from solo to 3 gallons to 5 then ten😂. It was the best smoke out of group. Looked nothing like the mom🤷‍♂️

Bear I lean towards less is more when discussing additives to clones. It’s more about managing what we have. The one topic I have not heard mentioned is the temperature of the water in a Cloner.
That is the downfall of cloners like this, that little pump can put out some heat.
Just my $.02😉

Ya, but yours looks like that in flower! Can you imagine what it would look like, if I switched to 12/12 now? 🤣 🤣 🤣
I had to go look through my photos. This was 1/23/26, the day I flipped. In the past gorilla days, I'd flip after 7 days and still grow them all the way up to the lights, which were hard mounted to the ceiling (no tents back then). 😅👍
