Just talked to daughter in Chicago. She said, 'I let the dogs out in the backyard and I notice one of them gulping something down. Cannoli the racoon probably left behind (in their backyard) after the garbage cans were tipped over in the storm." She had to call the vet 'cause there were chocolate chips on the ends and she has 'Frenchies'.

40 years ago we'd let our dog lick our ice cream bowls with chocolate sauce. She loved it. Who knows how much candy she stole from us at Halloween.. LOL

These designer dogs, tho' I love my grand-dogs, are so persnickety.

I have no friggen clue who this band is. Viper room didn't list them on the bill for last night. We saw about 5 acts total, and about 2 minutes into their act I nudged my buddy and gave him the thumbs up. You can tell early on a band that has their shit together. Halfway through the act by buddy finally realized it too. I told him it's amazing how much she sings like Martha Davis from the Motels. So we left the Viper and headed over to the Rainbow Room afterward and happened to pass the Whiskey on the way... And coming from inside we could hear "Only the Lonely" being played. That's right, Martha herself and the Motels were performing right across the street last night. What a trip!

I was aiming for a 4/20 harvest date kind of like chopping the turkey's head off on Thanksgiving and I might just get it after all. Grape Pies are winding down but still throwing a few straggler hairs.

And Ice Cream Cake tops are coming along nicely. Should have them all wrapped up before the daylight becomes an issue, but just to be safe the CWH and Gelato will wind up getting tucked in early for the last couple weeks.

I feel ya there. Have had a few dogs and cats that hit 15-17 years old. No vet visits, used to eat chocolate, cream, pizza, everything we ate and never needed any of these plethora of grooming products, special diets, benzos, anti depression meds and all this crap everyone has their animals on these days.

Everyone's just fill blown obsessive with their need for constant overt empathy and worry about every single bloody thing these days and it's pathetic. Pushing their anxieties on the their animals left right and centre.
