I just took a clone cutting of the CBD Auto (which was already flowering) this Monday and took the smallest youngest stem. I'll see what happens there too. I know common approach is take a mature stem but I’m thinking that would be counterintuitive in the Autoflower realm. I don’t want the internal signaling for maturity to have started. I may have to go even younger than this. Or it may not work at all. But so be it.View attachment 2621120

Making home made banana and orange peel ash. Started with a bed of hot natural oak coals. Then added the dried peels.

Now just let it finish ashing out then smash, sift ash from char and add to water when needed. The char will go in some pots but there won’t be much.

Every year 12 cord of wood ashes go in the garden. Usually ends up as 3 five gallon buckets.

Is that one of the things from Lord of the rings? Yep! I should have googled first! That trilogy was a reading assignment 55 years ago in high school! Ripped through the first one eagerly, lost some enthusiasm getting through the second one. Started the third one and said fuck it and quit going to that class!

I just like the character. I've watched all the movies, I like the mystical lore, blood and battles with unworldly creatures, and Under Dog.

Sheesh i better get to soaking my outdoor seeds. I won't put them outdoors full time till around June 12th.
