AncientWhen you clipped them on the shower curtain bar.....how did you get them to stand straight up into the air to defy gravity like that??![]()
Alien tape?Ancientsecret
@expat But that's with their super controlled aero systems and buds dried out maybe, I don't know. I doubt a piece of biomass could hold that amount of THC, there's so much mass in the plant itself. Or is it % of total cannabinoids or what does it mean?Actually good question.
I don't even know what they mean when they say 23%.
% of what?
Oh come on "Exploding molecular mass warhead" doesn't make you want to just try itThe plants true medicinal qualities has been breeded out. That's why we have all these BS strains today and people need effing "croc zombie ass berry I don't know". There used to be enough to use simply marijuana.
That's what I think anyway![]()
Overall, I tend to concur. There are 7 landrace strains. Beyond that, its all GMO. What side effects will GMO weed produce? I'm glad I'm smoking it at 69, and not at 19.Oh come on "Exploding molecular mass warhead" doesn't make you want to just try it![]()
I'm good with what I grew up with, Red, Gold and Brick. And I just smoked 3 hits plus a baby hit yesterday trying out some I grew and I was high high for a long time and not the high I remember from the 70's and 80's.
Wife actually tried one hit and a small baby hit and she has never smoked any since we've been together (1982) but curiosity got the best of her. I don't think she'll try that again. She was way too high! I think it kind of scared her. A couple friends came by to tell us they finally kicked out their mooching granddaughter and her kids so that distracted her for a bit.
I swear when he was telling me the story he changed into Charlie Brown's teacher.![]()
First thing in school they teach you about numbers is you control the numbers!@expat But that's with their super controlled aero systems and buds dried out maybe, I don't know. Percentage of total THCA within the flower. From what I've gathered different flowers from the same plant can give different readings within a few percentage points.
THCA will not get you high until the A, acid molecule is removed by either heat or exposure and why we use the term decarbed or decarboxylate to remove that molecule and activate the THC.
You can eat handfuls of flower with a high THCA content and never get high. I like to add both to my oil extract although some does become decarbed during a heat extraction.
I don't man, some of the shit that was in the south of the border stuff probably wasn't all the grand for us either. I'm just three years younger and the power this shit has today!!!! I couldn't imagine my young dumb ass on it in my teens and 20's.Overall, I tend to concur. There are 7 landrace strains. Beyond that, its all GMO. What side effects will GMO weed produce? Some of the most awe inspiring landscape shots I've seen for a while. Cinematography win.
Yea, I don't smoke pot to go to sleep. And I don't allow my vices to control me Acapulco Gold for instance is only like 18% THC, but there will never be anything like it created by man. Again, I wonder about the long-term side-effects of GMO weed. We know from generations of scientific testing that there were no threatening side-effects from what God made.I don't man, some of the shit that was in the south of the border stuff probably wasn't all the grand for us either. Either I would have been a no account POS or I would have already been to the Moon!
When I started smoking in 1974 it was Mex brick weed. Then Thai stick started to appear and then black hash. By 1977 when I graduated high school Skunk was king. I sure could tell the difference between the high of the brick weed compared to the Thai and Skunk but between those two? Not much. Hawaiian would come around for $10 a gram, like hash and like the hash always worth it but not really any better than the other top notch strains of the day.Yea, I don't smoke pot to go to sleep. Now, how much difference is there between the killer weed of the 70's and today? I don't see much and certainly can't see a difference between those and many of my favorite strains over the past 45 years.
I've got a strain from Freak Genetics called Sarsparellia, GMO Root Beer x Pure Michigan that has been tested at 30% TCH that doesn't get me any higher than the 2003 Granddaddy Purple at 18% THC.
I made a cross of GDP x Blueberry Hash Plant that, at least to me tastes like the old Afghani Primo from the late 70's. No grapes or berries, that I love but the old school flavor is rocking my world with a strong high.
I haven't found any of the newer higher THC percentage strains to be better or get me higher than what I've been growing for decades. I just don't see it and will continue to grow and enjoy these strains while making my own crosses hoping for some new flavors, and to me today Flavor is king![]()
