Apparently, dual hose air-conditioning unit is not common in the UK

I found one I think with a dual hose?

First I'll say that unit isnt the same dual hose Im talking about. Next thing is that you dont need a dual hose but its more efficient allowing for better cooling. I was confused by the dual hose thing myself so lets see if I can explain it well enough to understand.

My unit both hoses go out of the room to "fresh air". The unit you shared the exhaust goes to fresh air and the other directs the cool air where you want it.
My unit one hose is the exhaust same as yours. The 2nd hose on mine pulls fresh air in and uses it to cool the internals of the AC. Without this 2nd hose pulling air in the unit would be fighting against itself. Meaning on a single hose unit it uses the cold air in the room that it already worked for to cool its internals which reheats the air it had already cooled.
