High Times at Redneck'x 🌿 Cabin

Thank you very much, means a lot to hear that from a pro like y ^_^ I'm quite happy that I chose the scrog method, so much fun but also a lot more efforts than without. Back is in pain since a week...so next time there will be no scrog 😂 Yeah sure I do...

Yeah sure I do think that stress to a certain level promotes stronger and healthy plants!

Same to me, my training always start early, taking shadowing leafs which changes the plant quickly by the look.
I had Hermas before but tbh not sure where those came from, I thought it was my fault...but like @Captspaulding once said: when hermas appear early it's due to instability of the genetics and not from stress caused by the grower.
When they Herm in late flower, it's your fault.
A little stress never hurt any plant.
Maybe finicky plants such as autos respond a little bit different to it 😏

I don't like the regular Christmas tree shape... because of that, my next run will be some Christmas trees 😆
Not sure exactly how they will end up but no topping or other hst techniques...maybe some super cropping xD trying to keep it simple.

A friend of mine is afraid too, but he doesn't have the knowledge to think like us.
Everyone should do it like they want or be comfortable with.
Doing every grow different how I do it, helps to lean more outta the window and archive more confidence to be more rough with pruning, bending and cropping techniques.
Finding the comfort zone is where its at. Ive steered away from the common scrog and use what I call floaters screens. Same scrog effect with total mobility of each plant.

Im no pro at this stuff. I learned this shit right here on forums just like your doing. Ya gotta sort through a lot of bullshit and information before ya find your way but we eventually do.

That's it, feeling good while growing is most important imo.
Going deeper into techniques comes with time and knowledge.
I feel your floaters which are absolute fantastic. Will copy them next year, but before gotta grow some christmas tree shaped plants, which I really never did and use my scrog a bit more before switching to a comfortable option.

For me y are a pro in growing. So much knowledge, always happy plants, great yields and superior techniques, not to mention your effort to help others.
Hopefully our grow don't get boring, that's the last I want...maybe if I'm old enough and can't move the damn plants around 🤔😄

Love shots in the dark, so many bud sites!
Hopefully they fed up greatly.

Anybody knows why this happen and how to avoid that?
Taking the less supported shoots early and sometimes they're already too stiff to supercrop them...
The right stem is not even half of the size like the left one

Its never to late to supercrop. If the branch is to thick then break out the pliers...im not kidding.

Crushing a stem with pliers needs to be a gentle slow process. Crush just enough to get the branch moving where ya want it.

Never think its to late. I've crushed main stems of 6' plants and bent them over outdoors and similar things indoors.

Never to late. Shock stress makes some big bud.

It is 😁
Would be only good to have longer colas with bigger buds but there is always room for improvements
What you just stated is EXACTLY what a floater screen can do for your grow.

All taller growth goes to the perimeter while the smaller growth fills the middle. With a floater your encouraging the entire plant to contribute. Ya can see it in this pic.

All of the taller growth was 12-18" on the perimeter

Fewer plants with floaters in that space will increase your yeild.

Floaters make it easier to grow multiple strains at once. Each plant is mobile.

Something to consider.

Holy cow 🤣
Just want a big knuckle or a bigger stem, to let the side perform as others.
Going to try that. What a heavy method!
You're loco my friend 😅👌
Do y have any other techniques for late flower to get the best outta the plants?
Stem splitting or other heavy techniques

Was already looking to get some for my next grow, planning to make a long Sativa Run without topping and I thought only 4 floaters(15,7") makes sense in my 3x3 tent.

Not much noteable changes, a little more hues of purple, more stacked colas but no budswell in sight...I will wait.
Not taking more leafs off, got enough light penetration I guess.
Going to make some hash outta the leafs, it was so fantastic! super tasty and smooth, when the leafs are directly frozen, shaken and pressed while it's cold.

The plants are bulking and start reall to drink well, 30l/ 8gal every two days, top of Coco still be wet, drinking inside, not well rootet on top.

Some of the new seeds started to germ.
One had other plans 😅
I call that air germination, the taproot is literally in the air and didn't hit the Coco.
