Trichomes final week of flower

Hey guys my biscotti mintz plant is coming up to harvest she is in week 9 of flower had some stress to deal with in flower so im expecting her to go a little longer than usual maybe 10 weeks she is being flushed now her pistols are nearly all brown a few white ones remain iv been checking the trichomes and they are starting to go milky but quite a few are still glassy and i cant really see any amber yet. Im going to let her go untill I see at least 20% amber is that the right way to go? And how longs it take for trichomes to change colour

I'm in the same boat as you with a Blue Dream. Except mine was early yellowing i did'nt feed heavy enough i reckon. This is wk 8 of flower i'm gonna let her go just 1 more week. I think yours can benefit one more week also. I'm not gonna feed now though she's on her just water and molasses drink then dryout.

Looks like you got yourself a harvest. Nice job. F.y.i my blue dreams are just starting day 26 of flower. Gorilla glue auto is almost done. Yes mine are on a water diet this week to. First pic blue dream second gorilla. Happy harvest. It's always nice to get to the finish line.

There is really no right or wrong % of amber.
I think 20% amber is in the high end. I think it was my first grow i let it go far too long. Longer than 20%. But it was good for me because it made me sleep 15 minutes after smoking it.
Normal with little amber you get more mind high and more amber more body effect to simplify.

I agree its up to the smoker. I have cropped at 20 amber not for me. I cropped all milky not long enough. My personal sweet spot is about 5 percent amber. You have to try a few different crop times to find what is best for the user. Everybody is different to each his own.

My girls have had some stress to recover from thats added to the harvest time im now on week 10 but have read that this strain can go as long as 11 or 12 weeks my trichomes are still manly clear but they have started to cloud up so I started flush but with a very low ec untill I have the trichomes I want them push plain water through I recon I got about 10 days lol

I grew a Chemdog last grow 4nof them one day trics were milky 24 hours later lots of amber fastest turn i have seen. Keep vigilant

Im monitoring them every day and I check lots of buds not just one or 2
