Wondering exactly what kind of deficiency is this clone suffering from? Or possibly something else?

So, I have a question year before last when I did a grow inside, during early flower I realized that one of the plants turned into a herm and it was my first time dealing with that situation so it could have been from a couple of different things. Could the issues that I have already had with this little clone cause something like this to happen? I'm sure it could, but how soon would I see signs and how much of a risk am I putting on my other clone keeping them in the same space together?

Any and all info would be great! Thanks guys!
I don't think there is more risk than if it was another plant.
It is true that stress can make them herm. Me for example, i can make everything herm.
But i think when your plant blooms it has forgotten the sterss.
I wouldn't worry at all.

For sure. What is the soonest I will be able to tell if they are indeed going turning into herms? Usually the answer is during flower. But is there any way to tell during veg? Obviously the sooner you know the better so you can separate them from the others.

All i can say is that i wouldn't worry.
If you are uncertain just check it every three day or so.
As long as there is no female flowers you won't get seeds

Edit: But i don't think it will herm because of that start if it recovers.

She's trying to keep things on the up and up. 😀

Soonest you'll be able to tell if a plant is herming is after it reaches sex maturity and the sign for that is the nodes on your stem begin to grow offset instead of symmetrical. There's no way to tell in veg that Im aware of. You have to wait for those offset nodes just to verify whether it's male or female. You're going to discover it's a female before you discover it's a female that's herming.

So, what do you all think about how this little clone is coming along? It's been like 5 days. I'm only trying to keep two plants going in my grow space this time around, so I don't know how much longer I should give her before considering maybe getting another clone and letting her go.

As far as watering her, to get a good amount of water to the bottom of the container is it a bad idea to consider letting it sit in a very thin shallow dish of water and absorb it from the bottom up. That way I'm not risking overwatering from the top possibly. Since I've been basically misting it or putting very small amounts of water on the topsoil. Or am I overthinking it and just should continue to water it via the topsoil lol sometimes I'm haha. Thanks for all the advice. I appreciate it more than you know!

Shouldnt need much water, I dont ever mist my clones. Usually water around the outside edge of the container. Helps the roots chase that moisture and creates more roots

We want the water to reach the bottom edges though correct?

Only if the soil has pretty much dried out all the way to the bottom. Should be easy enough to tell by the weight of the solo cuo
Thankfully, my container is translucent. It looks relatively dry. The further down you go which is why I was asking. But obviously don't want to over water, i will keep an eye on it though.

That’s the picture I made that assumption
So, I was also going to ask you. What would be the results going forward with a clone if it did indeed have the rot issue and the cube like you were saying. These pictures are from today.

This is just a hypothetical because I would like to know more about how all of that works, like the rotting cube situation in general.

I feel like she has definitely been getting on track, so I I'm trying to be hopeful LOL

Thank you for any advice given.

I would imagine it will spread to the plant. I have carefully removed the plugs. They start to degrade and one case it stunk. I was able to save that particular clone.

Any issues that you guys can spot with my second clone?

Harley, i gotta ask you if you know the ph of your water?

So, I tested it and it was sitting at basically 7 to 7.25. I am under the impression it is supposed to be a bit lower is that correct? I was going to get some ph down down today to have the options to treat it if necessary. I am going to be using the athena nutrients this time around and they obviously offer PH solutions.
