Aye👍did think about removing leaves. Too late now or what? Could have some fun giving it a pluck if that’s what the experts recommend?😅
there’s probably lots of other things that slowed the stretch too. Too cold for starters, although it’s warming up in accord with the weather outside now.

I dont think its too late. It will still help with mold and mildew by increasing airflow through the canopy. It will also help the buds fatten up by increasing light penetration.

Was just about to ask again about the leaves. Yay or nay? Some people would say not to do it I’m sure?
Yeah, the light will get down to them lower bits better if a few are taken off.🤔 thinking about going in ✂️…………… normally just use fingers

Little one look good. Thats looking good on the other one too. When I defol the number 1 priority is light pen. My first pass is always to remove any fans that are shading/blocking a bud site. Get a good top down look when doing it. Next target is fan leaves that are overlapped by more than 50%. A leaf is a energy generator and a energy sink. The idea here is that if a leaf is covered by another leaf than it is only a energy sink. It needs the light to produce energy for the plant. 3rd target is any leaf that is crowded or twisted/growing funny. Same reason as above. Last basic general tip is to work in small sessions. These numbers dont mean anything but for example its better to take 10 leaves each day for 3 days than removing 30 leaves in one day.
