Fuck it... I guess I am using the OG Floating technique... The scrog is literally floating on top of the plant.

I have a 3x3 section of that I wire to a PVC frame.

I like the fact there is zero movement with it.
Greenmonster714 (from OG) calls them Floaters, he has some excellent results with these, I highly doubt I could match what he does with it. I was gonna tie them down (Like what you described) but he suggested just to let them ride on top. Hence the "floater" moniker.

Definitely makes them mobile. But with 100 lb Earthboxes, mobile is kinda out of the question for me. Also floating them would make drying easier

As long as it's light it's probably better you can move your plants easier and water it easily and get under to defoliate I used bread ties to attach a few branches to the screen or something similar what ever works for you
I usually don't trellis, not my style really but been playing with it (last couple grows) to get a deeper understanding of it (fake it till you make it). I like the look of a pancake spread and also like the "natural" look of the plant in flower. Just not that efficient in a 4x2 tent. A nice flat spread gets you bang for your buck flower. Trying, we trying. 😝

My plants are not centered in their pots, the one thing I don't like about leaving the chopped stalk in the soil untouched. But it's supposed to feed the soil as it breaks down. πŸ™„
Anyways... The plants are not centered in their pots. We decided to turn them inside as close as possible to the middle of the tent. The lighting is obviously better there. Had to redo the Floaters which wasn't that big of a deal since we just dropped them last night. So we are set. I'm told the floaters will rise with the plant as it stretches since it's not tied down to anything. I will not touch the side piles there for reference. See how this plays out.

just laughing at the β€œsupposed to feed the plants” along with you emoji face!🀣 ✌️

they are looking great!🀩

The Earthbox is all I use anymore. Last fall I grew out 2 Querkle in 3 gallon pots and had to give them teas and foliar synthetics 😒 constantly to keep them going. I don't have that kind of time or energy.
Yeah that's insane, it's why I moved up to the 20's in the 4x2. They nearly feed themselves now. This current round I just added quarter gallon of worm castings top soil on the transplant, skipped the top dressing entirely.

Your killing it with them earthboxes though. plants are coming out banger.

TY. I plan on trying a large fabric bed like a 100 gallon or 200 gallon in my basement but I have several things I need to do fisrt to make that viable. Next year perhaps πŸ˜ƒ
