Does anyone else rebound with hobbies every five years or so?

I have a bushcrafting itch.

Definitely. I'm back on my two yearly period of Warhammer 40k and downhill mountain biking. It's every 2-3 years I seem to jump back on old bandwagon a for a bit, and those two have been on rotation since me early teens.

Just I suggestion tell them you quit and keep the fact that you are growing too yourself if you are when I grew in 1990 that's what got me busted .Then in 2010 I started back using a church as a mailing address and didn't let anyone know where I lived.Today I still keep it quiet from almost every one but the atmosphere is different still peeps get jealous. Be safe

Cheers mate. I'm kinda going through that now. It's good character building in a way too as I was persistently in that state of needing people around all the time.

Being content with the simpler things in life is quite a blessing these days, but there's still a few loose ends to clean up.

I actually havn't had a hobby for years.
Don't need it. Got plenty of project waiting.
Life and growing is kind of a hobby though.

Yea it sucks. Another mate was in the phone last week wanting weed on tick. Told him I don't have any and got a ton of abusive messages back. Then his misso called up saying he was Gunna hurt himself and the kids like id suddenly just manifest an ounce out of thin air. Now they are talking all this mad shit about me for the simple crime of not having weed.

Tbh I'd rather be alone forever than continuosly get scanned and extorted by "mates".

Addiction is a dangerous game sometimes.

Mate, even if I had 2 4x8s I'd run out as every cunt keeps making mental health threats if you don't fix up their habits for free every third day.

It's hard when you've got manipulating asshats everywhere that go to every length possible when they don't have weed lol...and it's even more annoying when it's your family most of the time.

Then when I do run out, everyone cuts me off and treats me like dirt as they don't believe me lol...selfish cunce.

I've had a mate hang himself after I wouldn't give him a third free ounce in a week and I had to clean it up. Was one of the worst days of my life. Now I'm terrified when people make threats when they can't get weed, and everyone takes advantage of it.

Always kept a very small group of close friends....like three. One is in Arizona, one is in his grave, the other has cancer and dying.

Been a quiet no hassle life, for most parts. Lots of friends creates more enemies between themselves.

I have been meaning to break the hacky sack out and start kicking it around but I'm 60 years old now and I have a feeling I'm gonna wind up doing an inside ankle tap and wind up throwing my hip out of socket.

If you act like a crazy motherfucker and let people know you use weed for medicinal purposes, nobody wants your weed. The truth is I know very few people who toke and the ones that do either grow their own or have plenty of access. That establishes a reality that I could never grow as a side hustle even if I wanted to.

That’s a case of feeding wild animals I think @Vick_Vinegar , seems like they can’t get their own so now they’re leaning on you. It’s sad especially when it resorts to threats of self harm.
@Justlovetogrow definitely good surprising friends and family with a little bud now and then, but I bet they are grateful and appreciative.
I guess there’s a fine line of who you can and can’t give weed to.
I give a lot of mine to my girlfriend and my brothers.
