How can I encourage vertical growth?

Sounds like a plan but more complex than my time and experience allows. But I thank you. Gnats were light as usual in my “super soil”. Just stickers, fly traps and by hand. Almost none left. Really, there’s just a few. I did worry about them though.

You’re right and right to ask. I thank you! I think I just complied adding as “First Grow” & etc. under my name in diaries. Took time out to do this in honor of y’all and for help that is so crucial. Thanks again!
