AKBB Hawaiian Cat Piss & More

Whatsup everybody long time no post.

Anyone run AK Bean Brains stuff? I picked up Hawaiian Cat Piss, TKNL5Haze (TK dom), and Chocolope.

Hawaiian Cat piss:
Original Hawaiian import bud that was crossed to NL1 bred to F1 and backcrossed to the import. That was then bred to F2 and released to the public as F3. The ones with the long middle finger are the most ammoniated like the original import.

TKNL5Haze: (TK dom)
The original NL5 Haze crossed to Triangle Kush. Extreme Garbage funk hash terpene profiles to be expected. TK Dominant. Can be flowered early after 3 weeks in veg and still produce very well. Terps are gassy terpinoline and hash.

Chocolope (Thai Mango Haze Original D-Line):
Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze

I haven't grown regular seeds yet so this will be a first. I'll be updating for sure. I've been hunting for old school strains. Grew up smoking SD, Skunk, NL#5, Thai's and Afghans etc.

I haven't found some of these flavors in a long time. Some of those old Thai's and Afghans were something else. I miss the savory, spicy, hashy,skunky, funky, pissy, nasty dankness. I love the fruity and baked goods stuff too, but miss the old. So I'm growing out some AKBB see what's up.

Anyone have any experience with AKBB? What did you find in your AKBB packs? Should I collect pollen and store it? Any tips?

I ended up with 5 Females out of 10, with 1 unknown.

3 Chocolopes
2 TKNL5 (1 might be a male)
1 Cat Piss

I also saved a Chocolope male because it was real rank smelling in a delicious way. My plan is to hit a couple buds for seeds on each plant. Although... that might change since I just landed the Chaco ECSD and the Santa Cruz BD cuts. I miss the SD. That'll get top priority over every other plant lol.

And here's one of the Chocolope (D-Line) phenos. The other 2 are almost identical to each other, a lot shorter and wider leaves than this one.

The other two Chocolopes smell like cantaloupe, one more than the other, with a leaf rub. The stretchy one in the pic has a bit different of a smell but I can't figure out what it is. The Cat Piss leaf rub smells like sharp acrid dank but the stem rub smells like I spilled gasoline at the pump. So I'm hoping that translates to the buds.

I'll post some pics of the Strawberry Cough and Blue Dream soon. This has to be the Holy Grail grow for me. I like the old school stuff and haven't seen it around for quite a while.

TKNL5Haze, Hawaiian Catpiss, 2 Chocolope phenos (all from AKBB)
Green Crack clone (Cecil C.), and ECSD clone (Chaco).


Veg tent:
Strawberry Cough clone (Kyle Kushman), Blue Dream clone (Santa Cruz cut), Ice Cream Cake clone (I know nothing about this cut lol), and a Sour Diesel vegging (not pictured)

Green Crack will be the first up to harvest May 29 - June 1st @ 42-45 days. Running low on head stash, smoking the "meh" phenos from last grow cause I ripped through a whole GG4 plant in like 2 months lol.

Can't wait for some fresh smoke!

The most intensely melon pheno of chocolate turned out to be a man. Had it tested too... oh well. TKNL5Haze #2 turned out to be a male too (untested). But it opened up 2 spots in the flower tent which now will be SC and BD so I am not unhappy lol.

It will be interesting to see if the Strawberry Cough lives up to my memory of it... assuming it's the original.

Here's a shot of the Hawaiian Cat Piss from AKBB. No training, no defoliation, only removed the two lowest branches and it's just a cool looking shape. Lots of light and air penetration.

One chocolope is tall and stretched right up, even after being topped. The other chocolope (all the way on the right in the back) wasn't topped and is like half as tall. Growing from seed mostly, I know the drastic variations that can come even from S1's albeit rarer... I can't wait to see what two phenos I end up with. No idea what to expect.

The Cat Piss is the one I'm really looking forward to and I think it will scratch that itch of what I've been missing in today's cookies/gelato strains. I feel like it's all the same old shit everywhere I look. Black market was taken over by lame ass commercial growers in Cali shipping their lame ass "designer" weed to the east coast on the cheap.

A lot of younger cats are oblivious to the incredible "savory" side of buds. The type of stuff that can only be referred to as DaNk! and when you can smell it from 10 ft away while it's in your buddies pocket, you know it's dank as fuck. Haven't seen that at all in the legal market at all, or the black market in at least 5 years.

Anyway... that's why I'm stoked about this grow. And of course ECSD yes fuck yes but Cat Piss will be harvested long before so got my laser vision on it lol.

In the middle of the tent is my sorry ass attempt at cloning Cat Piss lol. It rooted we'll see. And on the left is ECSD. Gonna veg this one a bit. ECSD roots slow as fuuuk. But I know it'll take off. I might veg this one out for a good couple months along with Blue Dream and fill the 5x5 after I harvest everything else.

Bud shots will be filling up this thread as soon as they're looking juicy.

This has been my best grow to date. No huge hurdles and just sorta going with the flow. I gave the tall chocolope and the Green Crack pictured a good top dress of Epsom salts today. See if it helps some of the intravenous color loss on the leaves.

I'm starting to wonder what it's gonna smell like with all of these different strains flowering at once lol. No carbon filter because... fuck that shit. I wanna smell up the whole neighborhood. It's a damn good smell!

Just ordered the catpiss and Red Grape Lebanese F5....the choc thai will also be one i grab. Found an older pack of his Big fuk....id like to give these a proper go soon@! Your look verynice its great to see AK being grown out like this so thankyou for this!
