thats how i do it , i lost so many seeds at one point, as soon as i got a reptile heat mat i had 100% germination , still didnt stop me overwatering though, they need less than you think . ive got mine under a humidity dome and when they dry out a bit i will only water from the bottom, to force those roots down...what you dont want to do is dribble a small amount every few hours and keeping it wet
seedlings seem to like it if the soil temp is around 22 oC

I'm gonna say it's not necessarily a full spectrum vs white for seedlings... Plants are going to benefit the most from full spectrum and when it comes to seedlings, they prefer diffused light. Something that mimicks an overcast day. Thats why people swear by T5 tubes. LED isn't diffused, it's a direct beam hitting the plant. To break it up and diffuse it, you can throw a sheet of white poly between the LED light and your seedlings. Think white poly plastic greenhouses. It's the diffused light that makes them so killer.

White light is made up of rgb idk if there's a actual difference between full spectrum and white?

Every white light I've looked at without exception is made up from blue, green and red afaik aka full spectrum?

Carlos, if I may ask. I have a 100w (full spectrum) set up from Amazon. My seedlings seemed stretched. How far above my plants should my lights be ? Its a 2 prong bendable set up. TY they are in 5" peat pots........
