Purple Punch clone looks awful congested along stem? is this normal? Is this ok? this plant is going outdoors soon to plant in the greound, not in a pot. I previously asked about pruning this guy on April 20 and got a suggestion from grownsince95 to maybe just let it go. so I have never topped it. just concerned about how congested it is along stem. once I put outside it will get rained on and don’t want to get mold.

Not to worry, she looks fine, the inner branches will extend if they get enough light. What you need to worry about is airflow through your plant and as long as she has air flow she'll be fine. She's still small, if going outdoors most I know don't top unless they have a height restriction for privacy, Can't have 20ft plants hanging over the fence. If you top you'll have more inner branch and leaf growth which can clog up air movement, the more you top the more lollypopping & undergrowth managing you need to do.
