Im from north kalimantan and growing weed is illegal here. I have a balcony 5ft x 10ft that can have more than 8 hours of direct sunlight. The daylight hours is 12/12 the whole year.

Sometimes the weather is hot like summer. Temperature is around 33 degree for the past week. Start from october onwards there will be a rainy season that continues until february. Humidity is more than 80% i believe.

My current way to do now is growing seedlings for 30 days and the move out to the balcony for 12/12. I wonder what you guys would do if you environment like mine.

I did put them in 3 gallon pots. Clones are fast growers, anyway. These will go outside in ground. Today Malana X VB X PRCR going in ground today. It was hitting the lights. She’s started flowering. I was late turning lights on last Sat when I got home at 5 pm. Lights off is 6 am. Lights on in 2 pm.

If it was me.
Depending of the seasons i would grow bushy type of plants to finish in the dry season and opposite in the wet season.
I would actually love growing like that.
8 hours direct sunlight might not be optimal but i think some nice plants can come out of it. They still get indirect light last 4 hours.
I bet you can grow some killer sativa.

Yeah and then i would play around with vegging them contra growing them 12/12 from seed.
Actually you might get some inspiration form the "12/12 from seed" tread.

Yes it actually how I got the Malana cross. A feller up north wanted to see the finished product. I only got to 20% amber. I had a first so pulled her Dec 9th she needed the extra week too it would have been epic

Thanks im thinking to start sativa seed from 12/12. The flowering of sativa is hell too long and i’ve grow 1 before and it didnt start flowering after 6 months.

Don't risk it it's not worth the chance of legal problems.

I would find out if it is a little illegal ( fine and take your weed)
Or severe ( cultivation 20 years minimum)
Google says your country is a class one felony and can carry up to 12 years for cultivation.
If you could do a outside grow not on your property that you can get to unseen would be the only way I would even try this.
Good luck.

would suggest non woven fabric pots for better air flow for your roots. I use auto pots with a reservoir . Once I got that it made growing a breeze and eliminated the worry of over or underwatering. I’m not getting paid to say this, When it was suggested to me and I’ve been using it with great success I’ve been sharing it with everyone. There are several people that make a version of it but the official autopots are awesome. It’s worth looking into. If you want to see my set up or want some help with anything just message me anytime. I’m a old school grower almost 30yrs now
