Whats up with all this soaking in Peroxide?
That's something new to me.
In the olden days the hippies around here soaked the seeds with some acid called oxal in my language.
That was for making them mutate in some way i don't remember, but it could make them better.
Where as Peroxide is more sterilizing the seeds, so i just wonder what the purpose is and if there is any references to what it does?
Is it because you get powdery mildew a lot?

Being a distance away, I'd give um a call and he'd sort me out.....

I also read that post we can't comment on, on this side regarding hydrogen peroxide.
I'd call that post bro science with a lot of claims, or a commercial. Nothing wrong with bro science but making i sound like facts for all people is a stretch imo

To be fair the post makes some warnings of use. And i don't think that post mention using it for seeds.
When i read the post carefully it sounds more like a last resort you should avoid if you can.
And i like that post to be open for comments.

The only recommendation i've seen is 20 min seed soak in 3% by weight solution iirc. Maybe it was 3-5 min?

It's just me and because i never have problems with seeds. And the peroxide kills the good stuff too.
But i see people using peroxide having problems.
Maybe it's a good thing if one grow full synthetic full sterile?

And last thing i find strange.
People try to avoid chlorine but peroxide is even stronger so i totally don't get it. And yeah it accelerate some oxygen production even more than chlorine, but who says that is a good thing? Everything comes with a price.
But as i said, maybe in a synthetic sterile grow?

I'm not trying to argue. Just trying to understand and mix in some logic and always up for a sound debate.

I didn't bother to read all but 2 things springs to mind.
The study was made with beans and peas. They are a totally different plant than other plants.
Other thing is the claimed, no conflict of interest.
I disagree because if you look at the grant, then you know there is strains attached.

Study stops after 72 hours and before the bad effects starts.

If you've never experienced seed failure then your in for a treat. It's gonna happen if ya soak them or not...eventually. keep crackin..lol

First starting out, I was shown different ways of growing our plant....

Peroxide was one of um and I never looked back....

Almost like using Superthrive...

It's b1 with other stuff in it that helps plants...

The ingredient list does not specify a rooting hormone or anything, but I've always used it for my clones to soak in till they get transplanted....

Does it work you ask?

I've no idea, but I won't not use it, simply because I've always used it and it definitely seems to help.....

Sometimes I do, but mostly I'll throw it in the houseplants.....

I can't tell you when I would add it to the potted clone....

It definitely does not hurt your plants!!!

I use 1 drop in a solo, fill that solo all the way with water, then disperse between many solos....

I do know of growers that use it throughout their grows....
