Sometimes the cotelydons are glued together by a brownish membrane. You can soften it up with a drop of water also and pull it off, allowing the leaves to spread apart, if necessary!

That's a good idea! It makes sense! I'm doing it next time. TY💚
I got the helmet off by dropping a drop of water on her head. After 4x it came off with tweezers. At daybreak I could see a tiny bit of green under the 1 leaf. I'm not very hopeful, tho.
Using a one part 3% hydrogen peroxide and 2 parts water mixture and using your one drop method on the helmet head has helped me remove a few without damage in the past. But there is always that one that comes out looking like the finding Nemo fin.

I saw the clear gooey in this muffin seed, kinda freaky to see, lol. Didn't know about that- it's the life force!. 💚 did try a few drops. So the other ones that turned blackish brown wasn't a fungus or fluke✅ Thanks for explaining. 🤎

mixing own nutes. great idea cheep (after you get all the stuff) and easy to perfect a mix. Too bad I dont do it that way. I wish I could right away.. For one thing I'm broke so it's GH for me. I kinda took the whole summer off and surfed it away with minimal growing..no dinero but plenty of funero'
However I've gotten real close to Fatmans' NPKCMg #s using my own top sekret recipe using ONLY GH nutes so I'm not stressing the dry mix as of late. I run a mix real close to his Drain to Waste recipe. I'm on a 4 day cycle so I can go real low with the ppms and buffers

It's an indoor thread,
Puffnug's statement:

I've never talked with Fatman, but from what I've read he is an Aero guy. What he doesn't mention or maybe know, is that Aero basically negates the positive effects of Myco's because the system itself produces such effective root mass. Thats why Aero runs such low parts, that and clogging issue, but Aero will burn easy. I now use 60% of the ppm's I used before Myco's because of the Aero like root structure. So its easy for me to see how someone in Aero would conclude Myco's ineffective. /QUOTE]

Here's Fatman's email reply to this last post by Puffnug' (please dont' shoot the messenger..)

>danielle,

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I thought I taught folks better than that. Myco is a result a lack of a good number of hair roots. Myco draws water and nutrients to lateral roots as there are insuficient hair roots reaching out for water and nutrients. Hair roots draw in nutrients and water through their tips which would extend beyond the Myco. Well 'haired out' root systems are totally non existent in nature. There is nearly always MYCO in abundance in nature as they are typically spurred on by the exudate that the roots release as a result of stress. Aero plants do not experience the stress and also do not have the medium to absorb and hold root exudate (if it was emitted) so no Myco. Would Myco help aero roots to any great extent?, NO, Myco proliferates in area parallel to root growth so as to draw water in perpendicular to root growth. Hair roots take up over 95% of the water and nutrients of aero plants with hair roots ...and as said before hair roots take in water/nutrients at their tips.

As for clogging, that is absurd.

As for low ppm nutrients it is because aero takes in minimal water in comparison to other plant growing methods, and it realeases very little of that water or its nutrients. We are spraying ml's of water not gallons. When I say aero I mean HP aero or air atomized aero.

Don't flame me..I'm not fatman (or fatgirl hehe) just his associate trying to help out. This is a thread with his name on it so don't you'all think it's good to have his input? By the way I cleaned up that email haha you can imagine..

I'm all about K but not so much P. P is overated imho. K on the other hand shows up more in late flowering tissues samples. All the tissue samples fatman has showed me have a definite spike in K...and only a small increase in P (still very important don't get me wrong)

N..I'm also all about N. Especially during the stretch. I don't cut back at all. I'll slowly back it down as the stretch finishes up.. just a bit as I increase K. P increases too but only slightly over veg.

If I put both my peak Veg and Flower mixes side by side they're pretty close. I could do a full run on either and probably do fine.

One big dif' is I start to slowly add Epsom salts about a month into flowering. More Mg is needed and the sulfur adds tons of flavor.

I also slowly replace my MICRO with HARDWATER MICRO to bring the Ca down. I'll start the whole deal with 50/50 Micro to Hardwater Micro ratio and in the end it will be somewhere around 80/20

Back to N.. N is always there and I won't cut it in half or anything drastic like that. I totally believe if the plant is goin bonkers/bananas (like hydro should) they need a ton of N. I only run 2 6 packs of 8 gallon UC's so I don't play the rush to flower game. I demand/need big plants. No phosphoload or B master...nope. That's playin with fire black magic wack haha. Seriously the plant will flower on it's own if you give it balanced nutes in the proper amounts. Less stress too if you don't play with the photoperiod IMHO..

My funero this summer.

I picked up a 2008 Beast. Good bike when you're in your 70's ;-). 1000 c.c. and 430 lbs. I live in an area with twisties. Twisty, twisty, twisty. And no popo most of the time :-).

Cool, but doesn't your back hurt when you have to lean over like that?

I loved my 200 Honda street bike, but a few years later, when I sat on a 440 Kawasaki with the lowered seat and comfortably placed handlebars I gave it up and bought the Kaw. Rode it 'til I got pregnant and had to become a 'responsible' adult. LOL

I had a run of 3 Honda Shadows from 85 to 2007 when I bought my Green VTX 1300 and put neon lights under the tank.
Around 2017 I parked it due to constant assassination attempts by fucking cagers.
Phones killed motorcycling. Way more dangerous with phones in cars.
