Yeah seems like it's good if you get it right. One problem is if the recespie does not specify if the mix is by weight or volume. Could change the strength from 3% to about 4.5% for example. And that's a lot imo. I've also fried some seedlings. That's how...

And that's a lot imo.

I've also fried some seedlings. That's how i used to kill my seedlings.
But that's the good thing about growing. We learn hopefully.

And what are those landraces again you got going? I forgot. Read too many treads.
I hope so, maybe it was too late already...
Next time I will be much more cautious with the soak, also drenched the Coco and bio char with a root juice, possible a bit early but I done that the other times as well without complications.

That happend to all of us. Won't happen to me again after that.

I don't have any Landrace in my stack. Just tried to veg on 16/8 which could be not enough, even for some sativa leaning hybrids.

It seems like my Viparspectra getting stronger instead of less intense, what normally should happen over time 🤔
5% intensity, around 60cm away and still 60ppfd(in an open tent) crazy output imo.

Best that I messed up the others, those will be much more resistent for outdoor as well and I probably end up with good results.
Strains are Somango, Lilly, Juanita Fast (1:1 THC:CBD) in around a month some autos will follow for outdoor in case to that the fems fail.

Is that meter reading the inside? That much condensation and its only 55% in there?
1778285814282

I remove any dome the moment the seed sprouts. The first leaves havent even opened and they are given 150-200ppfd, fresh air, and 75 rh% provided by humidifier. The yellowing are you feeding them?

I think you are suffocating your young ones. Like here if this plastic is sealed bad idea. As soon as the seed cracks it starts needing oxygen. Even the dome might not be getting enough fresh air with it cracked open.

Try soaking your seeds in a fulvic acid and kelp mix preferably with ro water. I use Mr. Fulvic and RAW kelp.

No the hygrometer were on top, inside I guess were the rh% 100%

Will take the dome off directly, next time when sprouted they sprouted.

Yeah sad story, but that happend, too much of everything and the feed was unnecessary as well.
They went full dwarf mode so they got dumped.

Sounds good I guess I fked the new ones again with too much peroxide I stop using it and do it with fulvic. Had done it with fulvic as well but forgot to use it instead of the peroxide...

I dont know the full story like you but I thought the yellowing on those ones was from wanting more food maybe? Add a pinch of kelp in your pre soak too gives them a little boost. Tent is looking great btw!

domes cause problems when left on to long
I don’t use them at all anymore hardly see the point tried with & tried without & be honest in “>my environment<“ I saw no difference.

They definitely do if kept on to long however I feel like I’m telling me mom how to suck eggs with your experience

Nah I guess it was the dmg by a combination of too heavy light, domes & heat.
Giving them a little foliar as rescue move... it may not made it much worse but the dmg was done already, all went full dwarfs already.

Thank you!
It's the most colourful crop I had so far 🤩

I found one of these in a toy store the other day , which i thought would be perfect for starting seeds, i have about 50% sucess rate , especially indoors, so i thought i would give it a go..i was hoping the leds would warm it up but it does still need a bit of warming, but once its warmed it stays consistant..i think one of my problems was soil temps dropping , or fluctuating too much..
it came with clay chips and test tubes for hydroponic starts, (which ive never done but) ive got 2 seeds soaking on top of those , Ive wrapped the tubes in paper to keep them dark....there is a tray for tissue and soaking , which im thinking of putting two rockwall cubes in , and two pots with coco...like you ive used a bit of diluted root juice in the water , so i'll see what happens, apparently it also warns you if your parameters get too far out by flashing the light .

Thats a cool, space age, looking machine!! 💚

Whats it called??
Its a clementoni smart tech greenhouse, its for kids really to watch seeds grow but i thought its gotta be better than my set up ,
it just needs a bulb which generates a tiny bit of heat then it would be perfect

The seeds grew a tap root!
For me they take already too long, no patience at all 😂
The heads are visible so in hope they will sprout soon. Sprinkled some drops of water on the head and around and took the foil of.

Sooo cool! Need one and in my mind I'm still a teenager 😂

When the led start to warm up they're probably too intense..put a heatmat in if the case is big enough, then y could ditch the bulb as well.
Looks like it did a fantastic job 💯 pretty 🔥 for a toy 🤩
The future will show how the germination rate will be increased, but as it seems, a lot.
Trying to get on of those but usually ain't get those cool tools or toys here.
Root juice at the germination is not really recommended but ...y know 😂

I havent grown anything in it yet , im just trying it out , those top 2 are what grew with my current set up , but i was hoping to stop using a heat mat ....ive not had the leds on all the time so i dont know if they will keep it warm, (you can have it on green blue or white light ,) it seems to keep the heat in well when its up to temp and its handy having the humidity and temp readouts. i found it in a toys r us type of place.
ive never started anything in coco or hydro so its all experimental at the moment, are you supposed to keep seeds wet in coco? and i didnt know you couldnt use root juice early on, it is very diluted....

Oh I see, yeah passing the heatmat is in my mind as well but too concerned starting without, because seeds in any medium need a constant temp all the time during germination, after it's good to have but not that necessary anymore.

Starting in coco is a challenge because they vaporate much moisture into the air so y gotta keep it moist, not wet. If the Coco gets an other colour, dries up means y gotta spray or sprinkle it with water again.

In Coco it's recommended to keep it wet all the time, especially when using synthetic nutes because the salts will build up on top! If it's visible moist then nutes can be used by the plant, dry Coco is stressing the roots.
It can be wet on top(when there are no roots) but dry inside, so y gotta hand weight pots if possible.

When starting seeds especially in those celloluse pots y need a good protection against the vaporation until they pop.
I messed that up with the heat mat and beeing in domes for too long with too much light(they got cooked). They also vaporate much to the sides...I wouldn't recommend starting in them especially if your new with Coco, but it's always learning by doing 😉

Are y mixing perlite or sth. In it or st8 Coco?
Perlite, hydroton or stuff are good for soil structure but they take moisture of the Coco as well, keep that in mind. Coco itself is very fluffy and gives aeriation if not packed too much.

We have a Smith toys previously toys'r us here a bit far away but look on the homepage for it.

Cheers Carlo and good luck 👊

So I’ve several challenges 1. First grow, 2. Strains I picked (intending outdoors), stealth and neighbors (high odor).
I do have trees/woods (1/2 acres approx) but close neighbors. Seed co. is great but downplayed a bit problematic odor & needed bud protection I’ve come to learn. Strains: Gorilla Glue #4, Hash Burger, Bruce Banner Fast. If y’all agree it might be cause for concern like I do, my 5X10 w/8” exhaust is going to have to do. I realize it’s going to take some real training to manage. Please respond and thank you!

I see some of your pics when I click ur name. Nice plants and setup.

Carbon filters knock down odor pretty well. Heres an example....

I live in a 1brm apt. My entire living room is 4 tents. 4x8, 4x4, 2x4, 2x3. At one point I had 16 flowering plants. ALL of these tents are being exhausted out the 2nd story window by a solo 6" exhaust with a carbon filter. This all sits 5' from my front door. I have 7 other neighbors in my building. None of them know i grow.

So awesome! Still have a few going outdoors thankfully making room but now directed to Scrogging the rest. Already having a little odor escaping using automation (keeps more perfect humidity, VPD @ 1.0) on my new 8” exhaust. Will be using a lot more 5X10 now Scrogging. It’s gonna be fun & learning. Hope I have enough light! It’s gonna have to do!

Im realising that my issue might be fluctuating temps, so ive taken the feet off it and ive got it sitting in the dark on a heat mat at a constant 26.5 ...it can stay there now till something pops...Ive mixed some perlite in with the coco. would a seed stop growing if the temps fell below 18 oC just for a few hours ?

Sup freebird, thanks for passing by!

The strains sounds really nice, if y didn't bought them already, I'd think about the hash burger again, could be a concern because they shall get big dense, resinous buds which could attach bud rot if getting wet.
But if y want to give it a try do it, if your weather is mainly sunny and warm until October there won't be a big issue.

I am still new to outdoor, I give a lot of clones the chance this year but y never know...a lot can happen!
Last time was a shit show even with rain protection I could throw the grandaddy purple away, over 2m/7feet plant..powdery mildew and stem rot(disgusting).
The autos did a good job, which they're build for.
At a guerilla spot I tried my best, but snails ate some of them and the bigger ones got consumed by deers...so I changed the places.
