I’m in the same boat! Lazy! It’s the only economically feasible way of doing it though! Once you get the initial investment taken care of it gets dirt cheap as the years go on! Just adding amendments! If you keep track of the expenses and the yields over the next five years, it’s probably costing you about 20 or 30 bucks a pound! Maybe less! And it’s fun to mix your own dirt concoctions!

I use promix hp from “Family farm and home”. $45 Big bale goes a long way.

Looks and feels like promix just added 200lbs of compost manure still mixing and breaking up rabbit clumps

Might be apples and oranges though! One cubic foot of OF come pretty close to filling a 7 gallon in my experience! I don’t know about that fancy stuff!

In my experience a .5 is about a 5 gal bucket.

Edit: but I just searched that up and it says about 2 to 2.5 for a regular 1.5 bag of soil…sorry I’m just confusing shit lol.

Sounds about right! You want to have a little leftover in case you need to add some! Remember this? Some settling of contents may have occurred during shipping and handling! but I have never used promix! I don’t know how far it puffs up! Might be like expanding foam!
