Went to water this morning and noticed the below issue. I'm watering with 6.5 pH. I did my first heavy defoliation earlier in the week and she was bouncing back within a couple of days. Looking very healthy and happy. I did however turn the intensity down after the defoliation just to allow some less stressful recovery, a lot of stretching has occurred. I am in late veg and wondering if I should turn the intensity back up. I just feel like I get a good handle on the plant and something pops up. I know that is sort of the "fun" of growing, which still can be frustrating because I am ready to flip this girl. What do you all think?

Looks like the beginning of a potassium issue. Are you using a lot of calmag?

Without knowing the ppfd of the light it's hard to make a call on that.
I did have it around 400 ppfd but dialed it back to around 350. Additionally, I use all Gaia Green products for amendments. For my calmag needs I use basalt rock dust. I was top dressing with 444 and 284 at a 70/30 ratio. I just top dressed today at a 50/50 ratio with preparation of flowering.

Plants look good but looks to me like your EC is quietly climbing in the soil and beginning to cause some uptake issues. When you do your waterings, make sure you're pushing enough VOLUME of water out the bottom to dilute any buildup. If you have an EC/ppm pen and know how to use it, you don't want to be higher than 1000ppm/2.0 EC right now, and 1.6-1.8 should be a much happier range. It's also obvious there's some good P and K nutrients in there, now let's get the root environment a little more gentle and in the comfort zone.

After defoliating you've taken away you nutrient bank of stored nutrients and improper feeding afterwards can cause nutrient lock out which is what your looks like. A light balanced feed until she comes back in color before flipping. I wouldn't start adding flower or bloom nutes until you see small buds forming, around week 2 then start light and work up weekly.

Is EC/ppm as important not using synthetic nutes? This may be a dumb question but I have never paid any attention to that due to only ever using dry amendments. Also, I did read that with the 15 gallon fabric pot she's in I should not water to run off. PLEASE, correct me if I'm wrong.

It depends, are you using soil or coco? The 2 have totally different watering requirements.
