Roughly 20yrs ago, we had a real nice Juicy Fruit growing beside a pond. That baby sent out some roots amd was the best self sufficient plant that year! 6 footer with 2ft pop bottle buds all over great cultivar for sure

Yeah this juicy fruit is a local growers genetics that he crossed with these other strains. He has good reviews on the blue headband so hopefully it's a good grow this year.

After the success I had last year starting autos straight outdoor, decided to do it with my photos this year. 22 seeds popped. The goal is to cull it down to 5 plants, 5 different strains. So here we go.

Barely watered em once and the AK-47 is already peeking through.

19 hours outside for half of them, about 6 hours for the other half. And 17 photos out of 22 are showing signs of life. Both of the autos that popped are also showing life. High 70's to low 80's on the horizon with temps not dropping below 52°. Nothing beats the good old natural sunlight here in S. California.

Haven't updated in a minute. Transplanted most of the plants to 1 gallon pots last weekend. Now it's just the waiting game for the males to start showing their balls so I can begin the culling process.

Almost a month in and still no balls to be found. Good thing because I already put the chosen ones in their forever spots.
In order of appearance: Fruity Pebbles OG×Juicy Fruit, Blue HeadbandxJuicy Fruit, DJ Short Blueberry, Bruce Banner, AK-47xJuicy Fruit, and another Bruce Banner.

Hey Durbin those are looking very happy. Man it's hot i bet around your area, it's gonna get cooking here now in the 90's. My beautiful mystery plant isn't showing sex but the more i look the more i think it's a female. How i yearn to take clones off it it's so friggin strong bodied twice the girth of my other photos. Almost looks like it maybe a "facination" mutant but gonna have to wait and see. I don't really want that.

Yeah it's been creeping up into the 90's the past couple of days. But it's the lows getting up into the mid 60's that convinced me to get em in the ground. I have backups just in case but I'm pretty sure they're all female. I'll give them another 2 weeks and then toss the backups. Sucks because they all look good.
