There was small hail here this morning and some last night. Plants are still inside for a while.

The tall plant is Raspberry Shoes from 7East and the 2 shorties are Skunk '85 from Lucky13. None of the plants were topped but I've removed a few leaves from the top to get the branches below more light and growing. They're short and full now but when they hit the ground in a couple weeks they should spread out. Raspberry Shoes is looking for more food.

Hopefully no damage.

My autos…cheesewreck took at least a week longer to flower, which is cool, but she didn’t branch out as fast as the others…I also wanted to try some autos in the ground @grayoldnproud but my little bed wasn’t quite ready for them…this is about a 1 gal pot.

Here’s the octane and cookies from Mephisto. I think my pollination was successful, but we’ll see.

Nice looking soil...ehh.!! Daddy make it better for his girls.

Thinking I'm gonna skip the pot, and stick #6 just to the right of the burn pit. Won't get squat for sun till 1:00, but it'll be the last one in the light come sunset

So it begins. Re-ammended last years bag mix with new compost that’s been brewing since last spring, my native soil from back in the creek overflow (Smithfield Sandy Loam) and new MG Perlite. I got Amnesia Haze Auto that popped after 3 days in containers #1, Canna Cheese 1:1 in #2 that popped in 3 days and Maverick CBD will go in #3 tomorrow, they’re just breaking the shell today. Oh and 🍺. My temp planters are cut for ease of getting seedlings out when ready for bags and then hair banded so soil stays in. Number tags are cut from old half gal milk jugs. Yes I am a cheap old fucker. Fixed income and all that.View attachment 2601552View attachment 2601553View attachment 2601554View attachment 2601555View attachment 2601557View attachment 2601559View attachment 2601561View attachment 2601562

Mighty fine reading material there...mighty fine. 💚
greyoldnproud I’ve read with great interest regarding your use of compost. It’s one of my best tools in the arsenal that I’ve experimented with for over fifty years and now, the end results are amazing. Quite often long term and hands on exertion (by shovel now without tractor) and a winning recipe ending in vermicomposting. Well, I like your style!

I have a few spots in my garden that don’t see morning light until after 10-11am. The morning dew can cause excessive wetness leading to bud rot. For this reason I bought a mini blower last year to help displace the early morning wetness. I believe it helped out quite a lot, as last year closer to harvest I saw considerably less bud rot than previous years.

LOL Don't read anything I write with great interest. I'll disappoint you at some point 😂

My ole man taught me to compost when I was a kid. But my rabbits do most the work for me.

Chomping at the bit as Friday is out of tent and into the raised beds day as overnight temps finally doable! Durban Poison, Blue Dream, White Widow, Northern Lights auto. Nets arrived and then I’ll have room to scrog the stinkies in the tent. New endeavor and science project.

My air compressor lines make the reach, when needed. I only had some small spots of bud rot. And whole, undiluted milk, took care of the WPM that showed up close to harvest (lower part of plant)

Went on a beer run, I’m dry county. Construction on way there slowed me down and this truck fire must have happened right after I passed that same spot because I saw the smoke when I left the liquor store which is miles away. By the time I passed headed the other way it was completely engulfed. But got my beer and back home.
