420Captain first grow. How are they doing ?

Why would it be a shame ? That one also looks ready? not ? Yeah you are right, it's my own fault and a lesson for sure. No nothing to complain, but i've could have done better 🤓

It just looks like it could be even bigger. But it's hard to see from the video. To me it looks like it got a tad too many fresh pistils.
Plus an early harvest on that plant, yeah how do i say it..... never mind, it's your choice.

And that watermelon. The pistils can dry early. More early than that.
But you are also driving it to the limit it looks like. Or maybe too frequent watering or maybe some dry spot?
You can see it on the tips.
But no biggie at all.

Edit: and we can always do better. It's not all about that. The journey is just a big part of it too.

I checked real fast, and i think you are right! To much white pistils. So do all the other WW's. So sherbert is the only one tomorrow.

What limit do you mean ? Light ? Feed ? Water ?
Yeah, only the leaves from upper bud have those "burnt" tips.
Start to smell fruity! Like it :-)

Light or feed is first thing i think of with dry tips. And i think i see a little on some fan leafs too.
The reason i added the watering and the possible dryspot was if you felt it drank a lot or maybe less or something was a bit off when watering that one.

Okay, in case of feed, schedule asks for 2.0 at the moment, and i'm always around 1.90/1.95. So always lower, never over.
no, i havent noticed anything. Gonna pay extra attention on that one.

Don't wory about it but if it was me i'd take a runoff reading just to get an idea if it was on the hot side or if it was the light maybe. I know you like light so that is possible. But for me it's hard to tell now because it's an old thing.
But a runoff check when you see burned tips just to know if you reached max with that plant could make you know more.
I don't mean now but if it occurs again.
You could still check just to see how hot it is though.
If it's light burn it can be a bit brighter at the very end of the tips compared to nute burn at first.

I'm late to this party they're looking great, nice job well done.

Fwiw I think a bit early is preferable to a bit late, ive been down the amber road imo it's very overrated especially if flavor is your thing.

Have a nice weekend everyone 🍻

Yeah, you know how i feel about the runoff watering 🫣 And its the only watermelon lady i have, so really don't wanna risk it, sorry.
The light is fairly close imo, about 25/30cm

Thank you sir! 😎
i don't look for a couch hanging high. So just milky trichomes seems fine ? :-)
Good weekend everybody!

Sorry misread the first one.
I read as " i know how you feel about runoff."

But i don't see a risk i'd say after stretch. But that's just me.

Fwiw bro run off is my 1st stop if I see problems, it's like a window into the root zone, it was run off that gave me a guiding hand when knowledge was scarce 👍

Yeah, i know you guys are right, i surely agree it's the best diagnose.
Let me sleep about it 🫣 😝

I'm not saying you should change how you do. Just it's a way to see if you got salt build up.
But in big pots with small plants i'm not sure. It doesn't combine with watering in circles for example.

It's me again!

Day 68!
I've decided. Tomorrow i'll cut down the sherbert. And maybe 1 white widow. Check the video and tell me wich one i chose 🙃
normally the sherbert gets around 2/2.5 liters per 48 hours, but only give her 0.75L today

Day 50.
The only watermelon lady already changing pistil color. Kinda early ? But otherhand, this one should have kinda short bloom.

Fyi, my pistils were brown for ~two weeks now, and yesterday I first saw the first cloudy trichomes. So I will be chopping on Sunday probably.
Be sure to harvest at the right point not too early, like said already too many pistils mostly mean they're not done and you won't get the full expression of their genetics.
Maybe this also helps while checking trichomes
Bbs Trichromes

We flush aero, hydro & such a few days, weeks & everything's out, nutes, probi, check all & pretty damn near+/-35ppm. Dansbuds use to say, " all out & I can guarantee it". Even with weeks of flushing dirt how does that ever happen? Do you think so?☕
