2 days of cold cold cold, it's a freaking battle to grow in rocky mountains, big wind, hail, frost ,snow trying too make it till October whatever , is always a battle but I continue to do it so I must enjoy it.

It's super cold and in 15 min the lights go out , I hope my last 8 months of growing that big gal ( with a great personality ) wasn't wasted by planting early.

Well she is recovering from Frankenstein transplant but do you possibly know if this is shock from a very roughly handled root ball or why is this happening. If you could share knowledge I need some

Often when moving plants /trees any unseen damage done below needs to be offset with a some pruning above .

August 1, I trim her pretty regularly I just worry about stressing her more than I have so I don't cut alot off her. Should I do a major trim?

Well it's starting to warm up but it never gets really warm here. I have finished other years but by October I'm covering them mostly every night, it sometimes snows on them but those were easy coverups, this big girl is already to big to cover her. I'm running into space issues and height issues, I already topped it 2 times outside and like 9 times inside. I didn't think it would get REALLY big
