Tinctures are seriously underrated long shelf life, precise dosing and no flavour interference once you've water cured. Blending different crops to balance the effect profile is a smart move too. White Widow and Royal Medic is an interesting combo for sleep — the CBD from the Medic probably smooths out the high nicely.

I blended White Widow and Royal Medic flower as a test. I didn't make tincture from it.

I just made a tincture from Royal Medic. It came out surprisingly potent. I used 10 grams of flower (instead of my usual 8 grams). My wife decarboxylated it for an hour at 220F. I used the two-wash method with 3 ounces of 90 proof Everclear for each wash. Each wash spent a full day in the freezer with occasional shaking. Then I reduced it down to 75 ml, which is more than the recipe's 60 ml.

We tested it two days later by consuming 1/2 ml. We were all surprised by the potency. I'd guess the lowest effective dose might be close to 1/4 ml. At that rate, I estimate a person could get high more than 300 times from 10 grams of flower. We still have another 10 grams of decarboxylated flower, too.

I do that with my brownie brittle 'dust'. I made the brittle then let it cool and pulverized it in a Ninja bullet blender. 1/2t used to do it for me, but after about 4 months I've upped it to 3/4t.
Doesn't look like alot but it lasts a long time unfortunately I'm going to have to make more soon.
(don't tell anybody, but I'm enjoying it multiple times in the afternoon instead of just before bed. LOL) (still takes 2 hours to work, so ya gotta plan)

Thinking of doing some ice cream or sorbet soon
The mixers in most ice cream makers do a very good job of dispersing the rso
Made peach sorbet last year
Don't overpower the mixture as a lot of people like a couple of scoops
My first batch of sorbet was heavily infused and you only needed a tablespoon
Pulled back on the rso and measured in grams for a single scoop serving
Any of the butter ice creams like pecan or butter crunch make an easy infusion for those who have pounds of butter after a grow

We put our tincture in lemonade or cranberry juice. Those usually taste okay. I drink it like wine, and it takes just about as long to take effect. My favorite, however, is to add some to my morning coffee.

WARNING: One dosed drink every 6 hours, you don't want to FAFO this because it will end your relationship with cannabis

Use gums to bind the cannabis oil to the sugar water (syrup)
