Here's some shit we're dealing with right now. Santa Ana Winds just kicked up. Sirens blaring through town theyre all racing there to come deal with it. It's super close so I'm hoping it just looks worse than it is. Fortunately we are upwind.

Honestly, I don't know. I had a couple of questions, had an email convo with their breeder and all seemed fine... until a "real" question occured. Well, I won't complain, it's not like these are some kind of magic beans that require rocket science to finish.

I was mad because they just ignored alot of the info I gave with a "have you tried restarting your PC" answer. Also check the logic gap: they ask me for EC and pH and then assume I'm too stupid to messure it right. IF I would be using one already, why would I use risky values...


Look at how lost I am - I think this grow will be totally dead without messuring:

Oh and I also told them that I'm using a product line called Bio Tabs. From the FAQ of Bio Tabs: "
Do I need to measure the PH or EC, when I grow with BioTabs?
No need to measure the PH or EC, only if you are over-worried plant nurse, you can check. But remember the soil life is in control and she know what to do better then you..."

Bio Tabs shouldn't be making a claim like that in the first place. It's extremely misleading. Their claim only holds up if you are using an appropriate volume of water. If you are not, just tap water alone can drive it up as it "stacks."

DISCLAIMER - to hopefully prevent triggered answers:

After consulting with my legal team, several agronomists, two hydroponic engineers and a spiritual soil consultant, I would like to clarify that my previous statement was not intended to deny the usefulness of pH meters under specific environmental circumstances…

The previous posts reflect solely my personal experience under specific environmental conditions and should not be interpreted as an attack on EC meters, hydroponics, science as a whole, or the fundamental laws of chemistry.

Yeah that's correct. It depends on your tap water. If your water is too far from ideal range, it further depends on container size etc. how long it takes to stack, go bad etc.. In my case it works with a bit of extra Mag during flower (according to the Mag values of my water provider -which can of course vary.... enter 10 pages disclaimer here.)

Or you use an Osmosis mix which again would require you to messure pH at least.

I can attest it works for 10 week Sativa hybrids with my setup - so a couple of weeks more should be ok - otherwise I'll have no choice but to change my methods. I'm not that dude who complains and cries about his weed and keeps doing the same shit (not anybody from this thread, but you have those in every grow forum).




Oh and now I remember that ACE actually does the full pampering mode, but only on their ICMag Forums, so the whole world can tell how amazing they are @amneziaHaze - so perhaps I should post the end results over there (I stil got my acc).

Shit happens, especially with seeds. You get more wins than losses, just keep going. And forget about it....

Yea just pulled two days ago. Humidity has been fucked so I caved haha. Got about 21 of these and a bunch of fluff underneath. Stout plants but should get about 2.5 zips each off each plant and a bunch of fluff from the bottom aux branches.
