She’s a beaut! Very new to growing so take anything I say with a grain of salt, but she looks like she got the “pistillate” white hairs that females are known for coming out instead of the “staminate” pollen sacs male plants are known for. Good luck with her!!

First timer here were human we all make mistakes I’m sure lessons are coming to break my heart from grows but I’m ready for it… I think….

That one is a male pollen sac.

Note the difference between the two. Both are round but the female is pointed. More teardrop shaped.

It can happen, driven by genetic predisposition, especially when "female pollen" was a genetic contributor. They have a built in predisposition for it but with more stabilized lines it usually only gets triggered by stress, and light stress is a leading culprit. Do you have some growth developing that looks different? Can you share a pic like the user who started this thread did?

What you’re seeing looks more like a regular layered or patterned finish rather than true Damascus steel. Real Damascus usually has a much more obvious, flowing pattern that’s visible even in different lighting.

If you can, try checking it up close in good natural light — sometimes fake patterns are just laser-etched or acid-printed rather than forged layers.

I thought in was female plants showing male pollen sacs that was being discussed not Damascus steel
