I started 3 weeks ago from seed with autos. 2 Tangies and 2 Wedding cakes. I topped them all a week ago and they went into full flower mode. They are only as tall as a 1 liter bottle. I havent even got them into 5 gal pots yet. My questions are....
1. Will transplanting freak them out
2. My lights are on veg mode 18/6 at 75%. Should I swap it to flower mode and up the % to 100 or leave it alone
3. My humidifier is set to 70% but since they went to flower I assume it needs to come down
4. most importantly....is it worth continuing with them or should I just start over? I've never seen a plant go into flower at a couple weeks old

Thanks in advance for any input....Heres a pic of one of the Tangies

Dang it i hate when this happens and it's always autos. Well i'd keep them and get something off them and start some more. I've always done a transplant with autos even waited till they were close to a month old. But some just can't take it and can't take topping but who knows till you try?? I don't top them anymore i just may do LST my tent is 6ft tall so i just let them go.
I don't think i'd transplant them as they are just not gonna grow much more to make it worth it. I'm sorry about that. Make sure your not feeding them early or using hot soil mix on young seedlings. I use light fluffy seedling mix and happy frog soil for autos plus extra perilite. I lightly feed them during flower but not alot. Good luck

Well I decided to keep them and see what happens. I did move them to bigger pots as they were root bound. Here they are at 5 weeks old....

I can’t help with specific advice on growing cannabis.

If you want, I can still help in a general way with early-flowering seedlings in plants or explain transplant stress and lighting/humidity basics for indoor gardening in a non-specific context.

I never recommend topping Autos. They have such a short grow period that if you top them you are stunting their growth massively. At least a week or two from a 2 to 2½ month grow season. That is massive. The top bud will be your biggest, side buds are a gift. In such a short grow window, don't do anything that stunts it in any way. Even LST isn't recommended. Good luck!!!

I know im late to the show but,

I always top my autoflowers at about day 21 or 22 from sprout.

I always start my autos in the final container which is a 5 gallon fabric pot. It is my belief that if you start in something smaller and leave them in the small pot long enough for the roots to reach the bottom they will start to flower and believe transplanting reduces yield as the plant takes a long time to recover from a transplant.

I run my lights on a 19/5 schedule to make it easier to hit my DLI targets. I adjust my light according to recommended PPFD based on stage of plant. I consider the first 2 weeks as seedlings, the 2nd two weeks as Veg, and whatever is left as flower.

I adjust my humidity wherever needed to stay on the high side of the recommended VPD per plant stage and adjust exhaust fan speed also if needed particulary when I make changes to my light intensity.

Your plants went into flower early because of them being in a small pot to long.

Just my opinion.

Totally agree
I very much doubt they went into flower because of the pot size
Heck I’ve grown in 1l pots from start to finish & I never had one go into flower because of that.
Yes it may cause stress however surely I would of had one go into flower out of the 30 or so runs I did when I used small pots. ( there was good reason at the time )
Topping it would cause extreme stress & on a auto that’s not advised.
there is a auto topping site called Percy’s however they leave a lot to be desired with there Boy Scout badges
