Looking at getting this light for my 2x2 is it over kill or is just right’ or is there another light better suited looking forward to y’all’s thoughts and opinions in the comments. I’m looking for a light with good yields better than the oz of weed I got per plant from my sf1000 spider farmer light as I thought it was the light why my yields were so low as I give them green rush nutrients and reverse osmosis ph6.1-6.5 water every 2 days I give them like 1 gallon of water then I just had really low yields as I got 1 oz of weed per plant and the nugs weren’t dense. So any help and advice on my low yield and new light I think will fix the problem also any other tips to get the most out of my plant would be nice as I’ve struggled with training the plant to with plant ties and things like that and I’ve struggled with making the plant not growing very much in veg they like don’t make any new shoots and bud sites. Anyway I could go on and on about this topic as I’m unsure why my plants aren’t looking good like I’ve seen others have but thanks for reading looking forward to the advice.

Hey Leafyman, welcome to the farm. I don't think the light is your problem. The sf1000 isn't real powerful but should be fine for a 2×2. Give more info on your grow and the good people here can probably help you out. Sounds like you might be over watering but need more details. Are you in soil or coco?

I’m no light pro but I just bought my first led light and went with a Viparspectra 2000 250 w for less than half the cost of that light and the sum bitch is BRIGHT !!!! I had it at 80% for the first day and was frying my top leaves. Got it down to 40% at about 18” above canopy and they seem to be loving it. Someone with more light knowledge will be along I’m sure

That's a lot of money for 200w personally it wouldn't be mine.
Imo 300w is better light there's no limitations and there's options of dimming it, it's been ages since I looked at lights but check out the spider farmer se3000 or equivalent.

I'd think a 200watt would be fine for a small tent 2x2. Is there a chance you could get a bigger tent? Mines a 3x3x6 and i use 3gal pots for 3 plants and 5gal pots for 2 plants it nearly fills all the side walls. Mines a 250watt Viparspectra with a dimmer knob.
