Cleaned out my grinder today, scored a nice collection of kief and scraped a good little ball of hash out of it as well.

How did y made that chunk of hash outta the kief?

I have mine growing up through the wire. Tried the wire around it, didn’t work as well. Stole the idea from someone on here a few years ago. Works like a charm.

I use it because, I have it left over from jobs and it’s handy. People voiced concerns about abrasions etc on the plant from rubbing. I’ve found it’s of concern, meaning it’s minimal. Compared to not using it and have my plants get wreck by the wind.

That’s what I’ve seen as a scrog of sorts. Heck might of been you last year where I saw it.

Bit of advice. I would ditch the metal cages.
Cannabis is a superaccummulator of heavy metals thru its root system. So much so that hemp is used as such at heavy metal waste sites.

Well thank you for the heads up! I ended up breaking 3 branches off of my bubblegum in the process of removing the cages, but the other 3 plants all had narrow enough canopies.

I have a nice collection of bamboo so I’ll be good…

No, it’s organic straw. Rye or wheat cut before it seeds. Put 11 bales on the garden last year. No shortage of worms this year. Lots of organic matter for everything to eat.
