I appreciate your honesty. Out of 81 views I get 1 reply, does that mean people can't be honest anymore?Honestly it’s not bad at all for a first run. You’ve got the plant opened up and the canopy is starting to spread instead of stacking into one Christmas tree, so you’re already doing the main thing right.
Only thing I’d watch is treating the net like a training plane, not just a support net. For the next 10-14 days while she stretches, keep tucking those taller tops sideways into the empty squares instead of letting them all race straight up. Once stretch slows, then let the tops come up and set flowers.
I’d also clean the underside a little, but don’t go crazy. Take the weak shaded stuff that will never see light, leave the healthy solar panels that are feeding the roots. In soil especially, that leaf/root/microbe loop matters more than people give it credit for. A plant under a scrog is kind of like a hedgerow crop: nice even light on top, airflow underneath, steady root zone below.
If you can keep airflow moving under that canopy and avoid wet/dry extremes in the pot, you’re in pretty good shape. Looks like the stretch may actually fill that 2x4 better than you think.
Looks great tbh! Fwiw start counting flowering days when you see the first signs of pistils forming the little "puff balls" on top. Some strains will take up to 3 weeks to flip and you don't want to count those days when factoring in maturity later on.View attachment 2681815
