The only critical thing is take action before pollen sacs crack open. Hairless ball perched on a tiny stem, male. Hairy ball looking a little bit like a teardrop, female. But you're more likely to notice what looks like tiny grape clusters forming in the tops and if you see that, no need to wait... Chop that mf'er.
I'm in the same boat, had plants vegging outdoors since February and started a force flip earlier in the week. Had to yank 2 males on Friday and just had to pull 2 more today. Meh. It happens when you run regular seeds, and you're really pulling your hair out when you do a cross that's favoring males.
Is there a chance this could end up being a normal female and i'm fine? Otherwise, wouldn't it be better for me to do it now and avoid the pollen producing and spreading? I know that might be a dumb question but I'm genuinely asking
no worries about pollen, you’ll clearly be able to tell it’s a male well before pollen starts and that happens during the beginning of flowering or as the hours of light get shorter,.

the seeds are feminized but the plant looks closer to the top picture then the bottom one.
