How're ya doing @cbrians? I've had to trash a few plants lately, it's not easy but necessary. I also killed a batch of autos because I mixed too hot of potting soil. So, some good, some not so good.

I really don't get into Winchester like I should. I really don't know about the Angel. Was the downtown walking mall built back then?
South on 11 is some pretty countryside, Civil War battlefields, orchards not far west. The hill going into our neighborhood and the low water bridges help keep the riff-raff in.

I've been to Fredericksburg many times.........there is, or was, an old German meat shop out there that sold some killer Kolaches too. Oh, wait that's Fredericksburg Texas I think you mean Va.

My entire family is from that area, going back to the 1600s. My Aunt and Uncle in Harpers Ferry WV would host the occasional family reunions starting in the 70s through the 80s and I totally remember Snow White's Grill. Must have gone there 6 times at least while visiting other places. They loved it for its nostalgic 50s atmosphere and food, which was great. The mini-burgers reminded me of White Castle but 1000 times better.

I never thought this site would bring me back to those days. I've been all over that region: the DC/Baltimore area, the rest of MD, all of Virginia, and some of Pennsylvania. I've eaten at so many places and don't remember many, but I remember Snow White's Grill.

I'm ashamed to show pictures of my veggie beds cause my cat has dug all over them. She can't pee on my pot plants the containers are too tall, but my boy dog sure likes to mark the sides of my pots.

Probably Carl's. Used to have the best ice cream around. Unfortunately the original owners sold it and now it's just so so. Not handmade like it used to be.

Man I’ve had cat spray my plants on a couple different occasions…took me a while to figure out what it was, but there was an oily type sheen to it, then they ended up similar to yours…just throwin that out there.
