Happy father’s day! Transplanted the babies. Cat pee plant is recovering, big leaves are looking rough but new growth is good. First lavender plant I haven’t killed, first sunflowers at the new house, dahlias budding and first squash blossom!

The 2 landraces i put in the veggie raised bed seem to have taken the move well. Really hoping the Napoli Highland is a female, hopefully it will take off and show sex now that it's in the ground. The Cretan is a female and keeps throwing out extra fingers on several leaves. Have seen pictures of this mutation before but never seen it on one of mine. Almost like she's giving me the finger 👉 View attachment 2682789View attachment 2682790View attachment 2682791View attachment 2682792View attachment 2682793everyone in the greenhouse looking good so far.
Nice tidy setup!!

Everything looks so healthy and happy, good job! (loved the progression of tallest to shortest weed plants.)

Went out last night with my infuser machine (POS quit after 5 uses, don't bother) booklet and I could read the Cover but not the pages. So I flagged off the area where the light is visible. What I may do is plant one of the smaller plants there just as a what the hell, why not? So stormy Monday leads to planting Tuesday.

I have solar automatic lights on the barns next to my garden. They have a dim “night light” mode, unless activated, then they are on for about 30 seconds. I think they are an equivalent of a 60-100 watt incandescent light bulb. They go on and off frequently. Triggered by a branch blowing in the wind, or the cat walking by, or some other critters. It has not affected my grow as far as I can tell.
I would give it a try. It will tell you what you need to know first hand!

Yeah. It gets pretty dark out back on a dark moonless night. The lights I have aren’t much, but in the dark, they provide ample light to get along. But when they don’t get enough sunlight to charge up, every horror film comes to mind as you turn that dark corner and no light turns on, lol.

Damn it! I feel like everyone is so far ahead of me! I’m not used to this. Usually I’m starting inside in February and outside by end of April or early May. They will still make it. I just won’t have any producing 500-600 grams like I normally would have.
Hope everyone had a great Father’s Day, or great weekend!

Ready to go! I’ve had all the comments, the metal will leach into the soil and be absorbed by the plant. That explains why my joints creak and feel rusty. The metal will mess up the branches, hasn’t happened yet. Without them I get split plants from the wind and rain. I like em, it ain’t tough pleasin an army of one!
