Growing outdoors from seed in high desert Southern New Mexico

I am noticing a difference in bag sizes here. I've got 2 others in 5 gal & 7 gal. Different strains tho When it comes to bags, size does matter!πŸ˜€

Yes, it's All about the root s! haha yo funny! πŸ«ͺ😹 Seriously tho.. LMBO!
I had a 3 gal root, 5 gal root & 7 gal root to photo together ... Well hubby threw the 3 gal root away... So I couldn't take a pic for comparison.
I am questioning my amendments this year. But, I've had the worst aphids ever and those other 2 leaf hoppers & 1 other I caint member right now.
You got me side trackedπŸ€”πŸ˜‚

what bag size do you recommend. I'm currently using 5 gallon bags outdoors. my plans are only half way through growth cycle and larger I've grown, as was growing indoor in a shed with lights, etc

As @Oldchucky said, size absolutely matters in bags/pots. This will probably the last year I use 3 gal bags and I'll go back to my 6 gal bags for Autos. The results are really plain to see to me anyway. The No. Cheesewrecks were in @2 gal pots cause I was seeding and didn't care about anything else. But I'm not liking these 3 gal bags much at all.

I smoked some Northern Cheesewreck tonight or today... Whatever. And it's gonna be my new tobacco blend!!πŸŽ‰ I'll be able to drive on this! Nice & calm. I little cola sister to 2 leg seed packπŸ’š Seriously I've needed this, LOL!
I did need some thing else. So hit white Widow. and since it's the weekend & the dishes are done. I'm testing some more rn. I need to do a review on my other 1st Autos that's ready & cured :)
'll try to do better at growing your seeds! & Maybe I'll give the tobacco industry a knuckle on the forehead, By diluting theirs with yoursπŸ™‹πŸ˜ΉπŸ‘Š

You have nailed your grow style, damn I wanna meet you lol. I'm so what does @cpurola say "JELLY" of your growing πŸ’š Do the 10 gal and next time I'm getting a 30 gal bag! Thanks @Oldchucky

Good jobπŸ‘πŸ’• Love to see these!!!
I ended up with an ounce from each. only took 2 days to get snap.... then trimmed and jarred. Trying quick cure stay cure to keep moisture up as biggest trouble in high desert is of course humidity
how do the rest of you cure?

I dry until it is down into the mid 60s percent humidity range, then cure in Grove bags! You don’t want to jar it up to wet! You will be risking mold if you do that!😁

I hang in a drafty pole barn with open soffits and a ridge vent. Typically one fan for air circulation. Hang for about a month, trim, jar and burp for a few weeks (buds are pretty much cured at this point), then toss a boveda 62% packet in the jar.
But I’m sure my environmental conditions are a lot different than the desert.

ok... I use.vivi pack in jars. so it's similar. trying to control the cure as was drying way too quickly.
