Which is great if you can talk all your neighbors into doing it too. Most of the ones I have are coming in from other yards heading for the wild grapes and raspberries in the hedgerow. They stumble upon my plants and decide to stay.A lawn care guy in Buffalo New York swears by grub x applied to his lawn in the spring or early summer! Especially for Japanese Beatles!
Yeah, I kind of thought so! Out of your control!Which is great if you can talk all your neighbors into doing it too. Most of the ones I have are coming in from other yards heading for the wild grapes and raspberries in the hedgerow. They stumble upon my plants and decide to stay.![]()
Thanks for trying, appreciate it.Yeah, I kind of thought so! Out of your control!and he was doing it to save his lawn! That’s a little simpler operation!
I did smell a skunk last week just before daylight, so they're here, and yes I've seen the dig marks in the lawn. Thought it might be a opossum.U need some skunks. That is if u don't care your yard looks like it's had a disgruntled golfer with a sand wedge on it all night.. They'll even remove the ground bees for ya... for free.!!
They are some tough little buggers! I saw one tackle yellow jacket nest in the ground! I didn’t know at first what it was messing with! Went down to check it out and got runoff by the bees! Set a record for going back up that hill!U need some skunks. That is if u don't care your yard looks like it's had a disgruntled golfer with a sand wedge on it all night.. I know when I see skunk out by the tree line I run too, only not towards them. I had one in a leg hold trap in winter. That skunk sprayed a nasty “syrup” when I approached. Thick. I wasn’t close enough thankfully! They are some tough little buggers! I saw one tackle yellow jacket nest in the ground! I didn’t know at first what it was messing with! The damn earwigs have decimated the wifes zinnias AGAIN !!! The asian beetles haven’t even joined the party yet but probably not gonna be much left for them to eat at this rate. We did order that stuff you posted and sprayed for the first time a couple nights ago. We had a bunch of zinnias pop up in the driveway crack where they usually thrive but just this morning it looks like squirrels have been hiding nuts in the crack therefore digging up a bunch of zinnia sprouts !! Just can’t win !!@Beazy, I found this Rose Chafer on my weed plants, which means other 'beetles' are probably digging their way out of the dirt.View attachment 2684079

That's a beauty.Love this Afghani Winter from Strayfox. It's only 2 foot tall and a little behind the others 'cause I started it later, but the stalk is huge.
