Garage in a humid Midwest summer, AC holding temp at ~77°F fine, but RH riding 64-77% in flower. I am willing to get the hydrone 5 or similar but I'm concerned it wouldn't keep up with the humid air infiltrating from outside.

3x3 tent. Everything was fine until the weather changed and a heat wave came.

Anybody have experience with a similar setup and climate?

I dunno bud however I’d use a lotta fans till you get it under control as a emergency more airflow will help especially with 70+ humidity in flower
Good luck

Yeah, that's a tough situation. When I first started growing i was using a homemade grow box in my shop with no AC or heat. It didn't go well. I spent all my time trying to control environment and could never really dial it in. It's really only feasible in the months the weather cooperates in spring and fall. It wasn't until I got a real tent and put it in the house that I started having good grows. Not saying it can't be done but it's a constant struggle dealing with temps and humidity and will never be ideal.

I'm considering building a lung room. I have an ac which is currently ducted directly to my tent and that works great. I also have a dehumidifier I pulled out of my basement that just cant keep up with the humid air in my taller garage. A small room that I could condition with on hand appliances might be the answer I just don't want to take up more floor space.
