best sog strain for newer guy?

was thinking skunk#1 or super skunk. ideas? want 45 or 55 day flower, potency, high yield in sog, forgiving on new guy, easy to trim is a plus along with smell

Alot of strains are good for sea of green. Mostly depends on the height you can grow em or height you can't grow them. I would steer away from haze/ sativa lines if you have height restrictions. Some are good for the sog some aren't. Have to take into consideration how they grow, like their stature or lankyness. You want something that grows a nice solid cola, few off the top of my head williams wonder, green crack, early queen. And these are all pretty quick flowering strains. Early Queen from MNS (mr. nice seeds) prides himself on this strains early finishing time, great yeild and flavor. Then again thats time, to find a nice lil beauty, run em out. Keep one of the mothers, then clone it all off for your sog. You won't like any genetic diversity in your sog (Are you going to run a bed or pots?). You want them all to grow the same way so everything is even and thriving! Or, you could just get them female, veg her out, clone her off without knowing how it will flower, but at least it will be the exact same phenotype and you won't have a plant thats almost 3 ft and the rest are at two. However in pots you can get away with it by moving the taller ones to the outside and put the short ones in the center. Hope this helps!

3x3x7 tent. was gunna run 9 skunks in soil and pick best pheno. are the strains you mentioned newb friendly? once i have a mom or two ill run 25-30 in an ebb and flow. if green crack is a top heavy high yielder and potent that sounds nice. ima read up on those you listed. i was going skunk cuz it seemed perfect. since the first run would be a normal and they yield high and would be good for the sog's that come after

http://www.mrnice.nl/dhtml/strains.php?id=22 heres the early queen nice one. If you have 7 ft going up then go balls deep in those girls man. Green Crack has a linage with skunk if I'm not mistaken. If your running from seed and want 9 females I'd suggest popping two packs of seeds down, if not, lets give it a 50/50 ratio of male/female so you'll probably end up with 5 females to chose from if only run one pack. If you have skunk in your mind do it up bro. Most strains are newbie friendly, worst case you run into trouble hop on here and drop me a line. My first run I did an indica based strain, just to get my feet wet (under a 400watt). Then after that went straight for the gusto and hit up a haze variation with a 15 weeks flowering time(under a 1000 watt). Telling you now I will never drop back to anything less than a 1000 in flower, unless it was a small grow room where heat with a 1000watt would be a major issue.
One thing I did like was with the ebb-flow beds you can still move around your plants, a nice benefit to have vs. soil beds. Seems like you have the next 6mths planned out. I can't speak on the potency of the early queen, but it's from a breeder who holds some of the top strains. This guy either breed or helped breed some of the best ones, like mango haze yummm. In my opinion I can't see anything from shanti being below what you would expect! Howeve ri will look into the early queen some more and get some feedback. If you do run it, let me know how she is for sure. Critical mass is another one MNS offers, dunno if your getting it from them or someone other company. I'd suggest throwing the queen and the critical mass together if you do order form him. Keep me posted on that one too. I've never used canna though man. My nutes are pure vida, mag-cal, a bit of mystik by technoflora and gro-zymes. I go 100% organic. Canna is prob. organic to but I never used it. However there is more than likely a few guys here runnin that stuff to show you some pointers. As for balls deep,lol, if you have seven ft up to go, pending on if you did cut the number of plants your running down, you can veg em tall.... but it also depends on the structure of the plant. Alot tend to bush out as they grow, while with others you could easily dedicate a few tops and let em stretch. Wouldn't worry about height being an issue. Especially if your running a good few ladies and keepin' em small. take care man.
