Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number,
And gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".
Ready? Now pay attention....
Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00
Per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has
$31,231.00.
Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or
$31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has
$31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for
His family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now
Has $24,031.00.
Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and
Local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has
$31,200.00.
Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or
Welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per
Year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps
And welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe

Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose
Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose

I totally got it before. I do not have a problem with immigrants I have a problem with illegal immigrants. I welcome anyone who comes here and wants to be an American Citizen and do it the right way. I don't want people coming here who are a burden on society.

I definitely do not want any race being discriminated against. I don't care who my neighbor is as long as they are honest and caring people.

There are american citizens who get paid under the table and work the system too though. I love America but she needs a makeover. Government, infrastructure, health care, military, education and social structure. Things need tweaked. We need a tune-up just like every great running machine eventually does.

Where i live you can come here..... go on welfare get government housing, dental....if you have 2 kids you get about 2,000.00 a month,your rent is 400.00. ok so you are left with 1600.00, then like you say they work under the table get paid an extra 400.00 (usually 10.00hr) a week, then they send the money back "home", then they go back home 15 years later living the high life......i had some work trouble, tried to get some assistance in housing ....ya right......not the same problem,but close.pisses me off

When there are kids (born anywhere) they can get food stamps and help for them. They can get welfare and many other programs if they have a kid born in the US.

Found this...

The loop hole exists in that if they have a kid on US Soil, the kid is a US Citizen. And thus the parents of said kid can apply for (and receive) welfare regardless of immigration status.

Then you have the ones who use a dead cousin's or other dead person's or stolen from a living person's S.S.#. The money it costs for this alone is staggering.

What about the The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, that gave amnesty to those that were living in the US..

Granted that was 24 years ago, but how often do we need to offer amnesty?

People apply for US citizenship every year. why should a mexican citizen get citazinship here because they broke the law over someone that did not and gets the shaft. If someone is willing to just break the law, are those the people we want to let into our country? Don't get me wrong, every race, every people, anywhere has fucked up people that will break the law, but why take the lawbreakers?. The point is, if they were willing to break laws to get here, if they are that desperate, what other laws are they going to break. They have already shown they they have little reguard for the law, why reward them?
